Production for Season 4 of Netflix’s legal drama “The Lincoln Lawyer” has officially commenced in Los Angeles. The series, starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as defense attorney Mickey Haller, continues to captivate audiences with its adaptation of Michael Connelly’s novels.
Season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer may have left everything up in the air in its shocking finale — but you can breathe a sigh of relief, because Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) isn’t the kind of guy to leave you hanging on that cliff forever.
After the bloodbath of Season 3, there’s very little we can assume about Season 4, but we do know that it will consist of 10 episodes and be based on the sixth book in Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer series, The Law of Innocence.
Hopefully, the new season will answer a lot of questions. What consequences will the deaths of key characters have? And — now that the police have popped...

Season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer left us with plenty of unanswered questions, but there’s good news—Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is coming back. Season 4 is already filming in Los Angeles, and this time, the stakes are higher than ever.
The legal drama, based on Michael Connelly’s novels, will see Mickey take on his toughest case yet—his own. With Constance Zimmer joining the cast for a major role, there’s a lot to look forward to in the new season.
Mickey’s next legal battle will play out over 10 episodes, drawing from The Law of Innocence, the sixth book in Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer series. After the chaos of Season 3, there’s no telling how things will unfold, but one thing is certain: Mickey is in deep trouble.

Making a good TV series based on a very successful film, with a different actor in the main role, is often a formidable task that often falls short of the original intention - catching the attention of potential viewers.
Well, not in the case of Netflix’s series version of the Lincoln Lawyer movie (2011), which starred Matthew McConaughey, as its three seasons so far have proved to be a huge audience success, set to continue with season 4.
Not only was actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo a good fit for the role, but some swift script solutions, a good set of actors, and tricky cliffhangers to every season so far made the series work, and the audiences reacted promptly.

Back in 2023, we heard that Gene Simmons of the rock band Kiss would be launching a new production company with Gary Hamilton (so the company is appropriately called Simmons/Hamilton Productions), and the first project they had given the greenlight was a shark thriller called Deep Water – with Deep Blue Sea director Renny Harlin attached to take the helm of the film! That film has since made its way through production, and Deadline reports that Magenta Light Studios, the distributor behind last year’s Strange Darling, has acquired the domestic rights to Deep Water, with plans to give it a theatrical release sometime in 2025.
Scripted by Pete Bridges and John Kim, Deep Water centers on an eclectic group of international passengers whose plane, en route from Los Angeles to Shanghai, is forced to make an emergency landing in shark-infested waters. The terrified group is forced to work together and overcome...

The Lincoln Lawyer has been somewhat of a surprise success on Netflix. The show was created by David E. Kelley, who has had a long run of success in television, but that does not mean that every show he touches turns to gold. Plus, The Lincoln Lawyer was an idea that seemed done, and who knew if anyone would want to watch.
Netflix took a chance in 2022 that the series would be at least a moderate success. It might have exceeded the streamer's expectations. Star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who plays Mickey Haller, had been in a bunch of movies and shows, but could he carry a series? As it turns out, he could.
The series follows an attorney who runs a law firm literally out of the back of his car, as he takes on cases of all sizes in Los Angeles. Sounds simple, sure, but also sounds like there could...

The Mad Max saga has been wreaking havoc among fans for quite some time now, so when it was time for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga to come out, it was expected to succeed as terrifically as nearly every other film in the series. But, starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead as the titular character, that was hardly what happened when the movie finally hit the theatres.
A post-apocalyptic action film helmed by George Miller, this fifth installment in the Mad Max franchise had quite the star-studded cast besides Taylor-Joy, including the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, and Elsa Pataky, among others. Despite this, it barely made it through its box office run as it made $173.8 million globally on its $168 million budget (per The Numbers).

The Lincoln Lawyer showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez discusses Bosch's replacement, offering insight on how the Netflix legal drama will handle the switch. Even though The Lincoln Lawyer's Mickey Haller and the titular Harry Bosch are both characters created by author Michael Connelly, sharing space in the novels, the on-screen crossover between the two shows is more complicated. The Lincoln Lawyer streams on Netflix, while the original Bosch and its recent continuation are under Prime Video's umbrella.
In an interview with Screen Rant's Dani Kessel Odom, Rodriguez was asked about the show's plan to handle Bosch's absence. Although not officially renewed, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 looks likely as the third installment continues to rack up viewership. The legal drama returns for a third season of courtroom intrigue and personal stakes. Netflix’s adaptation of Michael Connelly’s acclaimed novels finds Los Angeles defense attorney Mickey Haller taking on what might be his most complex case yet.
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is back in the titular role as Mickey Haller, whose unique mobile law practice sees him advocating for clients from the backseat of his iconic Lincoln automobile. Season 3 finds Haller still coming to terms with the messy events of the last campaign. But a new trial threatens to plunge him into an even deeper realm of mystery and endanger those close to him.
When Haller’s friend and past client Glory Days is found murdered, suspicion falls on Julian La Cosse. But with personal ties to both the victim and defendant, can Mickey maintain objectivity to determine the true killer? His investigation uncovers disturbing ties between Glory and the criminal underworld.

Along with Suits, which has experienced a well-documented resurgence on streaming, the adaptation stands as an example of how courtroom sagas still make for viable stories. The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 has been much-anticipated, precisely because of how the series has built up an audience over the course of its previous installments.

It turns out the rumors were wrong! While rumors had been circulating earlier this year that The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 wouldn’t hit Netflix until 2025, Netflix has put those rumors to bed by confirming its hit legal drama will be back this October!
Netflix has confirmed the upcoming third season of The Lincoln Lawyer will arrive on Thursday, Oct. 17! And here’s the fun part, the show isn’t being split into two parts this season! That’s right, all 10 episodes of season 3 will release at once meaning we won’t have to deal with a split season break as we did in season 2 when Netflix opted to release the season in two five-episode parts.
It's unclear why Netflix chose not to split the season this year, but we definitely approve of the decision as the split season format doesn't always work in a show's favor -- and we'd much...

Furiosa's streaming release could boost its success and reshape its reputation after a lukewarm box office performance. Despite financial challenges, Furiosa earned positive reviews and is expected to gain a loyal following like Fury Road. The future of the Mad Max franchise remains uncertain post-Furiosa, though George Miller has another sequel titled The Wasteland in development.
With confirmation of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga's impending streaming release, I'm still holding out hope for the franchise's future. While I always enjoyed the Mad Max movies for their great action and worldbuilding, I'll confess they were never my favorite action series either. Still, like most of the planet, I was blown out the back of my seat by Mad Max: Fury Road, which has earned its place as one of - if not the best - action movies of the 21st century.

Director George Miller decided to continue the Mad Max franchise with the Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga… and while the movie got good reviews (like the 9/10 review from JoBlo’s own Chris Bumbray), the worldwide box office numbers just barely passed the $168 million budget, so the Furiosa story was not something a lot of movie-goers were exceptionally eager to see on the big screen. It has been on VOD for a while now, and now we know when it’s going to start streaming: SuperHeroHype reports that Furiosa will be available to watch on the Max streaming service as of August 16th.
Directed by Miller from a screenplay he wrote with Nico Lathouris, Furiosa has the following synopsis: As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.
