As the founder of John Scott Productions, he has provided top-tier stunt coordination, horse wrangling, and western set design to major Hollywood productions. His expansive Alberta-based ranch has been a sought-after filming location, featuring in hit films and TV series such as Open Range (2003), Shanghai Noon (2000), Hell on Wheels (2011-2016), and Billy the Kid (2022-present). With over 150 productions shot on his land, Scott's authentic western landscapes, historical props, and expertly trained animals have helped bring cinematic stories to life.
