- Yosef Shiloach was born on July 9, 1941 in Kurdistan, Iran. He was an actor and writer, known for Rambo III (1988), Desperado Square (2001) and Private Popsicle (1982). He died on January 3, 2011 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
- Shiloh participated in many theater performances in all the major theaters in Israel, however, most of his best-known roles were in films defined by film critics as " Burks films ", where he usually played stereotypical and extremely extreme eastern characters and especially characters of Persian origin characterized by a heavy accent.
- He also appeared in international films, such as I Love You Rosa, The House on Chelouche Street and Rambo III.
- As an occasional voice actor, Shiloach provided the Hebrew voice of Arik (Ernie) on Rechov Sumsum, which is the Israeli TV version of Sesame Street.
- Shiloach was one of the first graduates of the Beit Zvi acting school.
- In 1998, Shiloh won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Israel Film Academy and a recognition award from the Tel Aviv Municipality .
