- Originally, she was supposed to co-star on Here's Lucy (1968). Her character was supposed to be Harry Carter's (Gale Gordon) efficient morning secretary, who would stand in contrast to Lucy (Lucille Ball), his scatterbrained afternoon secretary. Her character was dropped after the first episode because it was decided to show more of Lucy's family life and less of her life on the job.
- In the The Club Election (1953), her character is named "Lillian Appleby". In all later episodes, the character's first name was inexplicably changed to "Caroline".
- Is interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.
