- Björn Skifs was born on April 20, 1947 in Vansbro, Dalarnas län, Sweden. He is an actor and composer, known for Strul (1988), The Snowman (2017) and Joker (1991). He has been married to Pernilla Skifs since 1988. They have two children.

- As lead singer of the Swedish rock-group Blue Swede in the 1970s he reached first place on the US Billboard list with their version of the B.J. Thomas-song "Hooked on a feelin'".
- Holds the all time record on the Swedish chart "Svensktoppen", 142 weeks with "Håll mitt hjärta" 2003-2006.
- One of Sweden's most versatile entertainers.
- Was the voice of Woody in the Swedish dubbed versions of "Toy Story" (1995) and "Toy Story 2" (1999). But declined to reprise the role due to lack of interest in the role. Was replaced by Swedish actor Jan Mybrand (known for working with British director Colin Nutley).
