Producer / Talent Manager Daniel Sladek is the Emmy Award and Producers Guild Award nominated executive producer of the critically acclaimed film "Prayers For Bobby" starring Sigourney Weaver, winner of the 2010 GLAAD Award and Prism Award. He is also executive producer (with Barack and Michelle Obama, Chris Taaffe, David Permut, Mark R. Wright and Alex G. Scott) of the 2023 Netflix film RUSTIN starring Coleman Domingo, directed by George C. Wolfe.

As a producer / production executive, Sladek's more recent credits include co-executive producer of VH1's documentary special "Ricky Martin: Behind the Scenes of the Vegas Residency" and consulting producer on the Fox reality series "Q'viva" and "Q'Viva Live at Mandalay Bay" from Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment starring (director) Jamie King, Jennifer Lopez & Mark Anthony.

Prior to the 1998 creation of Daniel Sladek Entertainment Corp., Sladek partnered with Silvio Muraglia to form Cine Grande Corporation. Their production company was anchored by a three-year first-look deal with USA Pictures to produce independent feature films and television programming. Sladek and Muraglia produced four films: Dimension Films' Russell Mulcahy's Tale Of The Mummy' (shot on location in Luxembourg) starring Jason Scott Lee, Louise Lombard, Christopher Lee, Gerald Butler, Jack Davenport, Shelley Duvall and Michael Lerner; the USA Pictures release 'Sub Down', (also shot in Luxembourg) starring Stephen Baldwin, Tom Conti, Gabrielle Anwar and Kevin Connolly (Story by Muraglia and Sladek); HBO's 'Silent Trigger' (lensed in Montreal) under the direction of Russell Mulcahy; and Dimension Films 'Hidden Assassin', (lensed in Prague) directed by Ted Kotcheff.

Prior to Cine Grande, Sladek served as Executive Vice President of Quinta Communications USA, where he was Executive in Charge of Production of Quinta's slate including the USA Networks thriller 'Voyage' starring Rutger Hauer and Eric Roberts; USA Networks critically acclaimed drama 'Nobody's Children' starring Ann Margret and Clive Owen; and Universal Pictures 'Foreign Student' starring Robin Givens and Marco Hofschneider.

Sladek began his production career as Vice President of Creative & Administrative Affairs at Ed Snider and Michael Jaffe's upstart Spectacor Films where he also served as Executive in Charge of Production on films including HBO's Wedlock starring Rutger Hauer, Mimi Rogers and Joan Chen, Associate Producer of NBC's Shattered Trust starring Melissa Gilbert, and Co-Producer of Mad At The Moon starring Mary Stuart Masterson and Hart Bochner. Over a period of four years, Sladek participated in the development, packaging, production and distribution of numerous television movies and mini-series including NBC's The Hijacking Of The Achille Lauro and the NBC mini-series The Great Escape II.

As a talent manager, over the past 25 years, Sladek has represented numerous artists including director Jamie King, author James Carroll, actor/writer/director Doug McKeon (On Golden Pond), actors Marco Hofschneider (Europa, Europa), Alexandra Paul (Baywatch), Tony Award nominee Adam Cooper (Swan Lake), Tony Award nominee Ian Richardson (My Fair Lady, Gormanghast), Academy Award nominee Ian Bannen (Flight of the Phoenix, Waking Ned Devine) and British horror legend Christopher Lee (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings). In addition to production and talent management, Daniel Sladek Entertainment brokers select literary publishing deals, film & television distribution deals and IP licensing / brand development.

Sladek was a member of the UCLA Film and Television Dept. extension faculty for many years. He studied film and sociology at the University of Colorado, Boulder (where he was elected to the UCSU Senate) and is a Producer Fellow of the American Film Institute's Center for Advanced Film & Television Studies. During his fellowship at AFI, Sladek founded (with actress Alexandra Paul) and was president of entertainment industry philanthropy Young Artists United, bringing together young celebrities and industry professionals dedicated to helping youth nationwide. The celebrated organization was honored with the Presidential Commission Against Drunk Driving Distinguished Service Award and won the International Broadcasting Association Commercial of the Year Award for YAU's safe sex public service campaign, and much more.

A lifelong community activist, Sladek was honored by Washington D.C-based PFLAG National with their inaugural Entertainment Industry Leadership Award for his efforts championing PGLAG and the rights of LGBTQ youth. The same year, Frontiers Magazine named him one of the Top Ten LGBT Community Activists. He has served on the Los Angeles Board of Directors of the Jewish National Fund, Chaired the 2010 PFLAG National LA Event gala, and Co-Chaired the 2004 Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Election Protection Los Angeles benefit, and more.

Daniel Sladek is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
