A Florida girl died on Saturday afternoon after her adult cousin allegedly sat on her to punish her for misbehaving.
Veronica Green Posey, 64, has been charged with cruelty towards and child and homicide in the death of her 9-year-old cousin, Dericka Lindsay, according to an arrest report from the Escambia County Sheriff.
Posey — who weighs 325 pounds — sat on the girl for being “out of control,” the report alleges. Posey told police that she stood up and realized that Dericka was unresponsive. She started CPR and called 911.

He thrilled us all with his Bullfit but now James Smith, known to wrestling fans as Bull Dempsey, has left WWE and Nxt.
Dempsey tweeted the following out earlier this afternoon:
Twitter
Dempsey signed with WWE in 2013 and appeared on Nxt as a big monster like villain. When the gimmick didn’t really take off he worked to alter his gimmick into a loveable babyface who would do BullFit to get into shape. Having recently seen him on the Nxt shows in the UK in December, he was gaining confidence with large crowds and the fans seemed to be getting behind him.
Here’s an interview I conducted with Dempsey and Apollo Crews back in December…
With sporadic appearances on Nxt TV recently and usually being on the losing side, it wasn’t looking good for Bull on Television. Further details on his release will become available in the coming days.

Understandably for a 15-year-old boy, Britain's Got Talent star James Smith is more than happy to receive adoring messages from female fans - although he would like an explanation as to why they keep sending him pictures of horses.
The Essex-born singer, who topped the public vote in last night's semi-final after his performance of Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy', told Digital Spy that some of his online fan mail can be "a bit weird".
"I've had some young teenage people, my sort of age, get in touch," he said. "Some things are a bit weird, like the little cropped-out pictures of me on a wrecking ball.
"When it was Easter, people put me on bunny rabbits and things like that, which was a bit crazy. Everyone's been sending me pictures of horses. I don't mind horses, but I wouldn't say I have a huge interest in them, so I don't know where that came from.

Finally, Episode 5 of this series found both sides of the government in action, as all parties tried to deal best with the fall-out of the viper's kiss that had felled Nicola Murray (Rebecca Front).
The Coalition came unsteak as a leaked email caused pandemonium in both parties
Under the confident direction of Chris Addison, it was a breath-catching romp as first Peter Mannion (Roger Allam) saw his perfect chance to skip his government duties and resign. “You're Aslan, no one shaves your mane,” wailed a horrified Phil (Will Smith). “You've passed the dignified exit,” reflected a more pragmatic Emma (Olivia Poulet).
It looked as though he wouldn't need to resign if Fergus's troops had their way, getting Glenn (James Smith) to ‘leak' Mannion's Mr Tickle jokes to the press. Except Glenn ‘forgot' to redact the stick – too busy bribing Terri (Joanna Scanlon) with talk of severance and a tea-shop near...

After last week's almost existential angst in Opposition, the subdued Malcolm Tucker can at least console himself it's not all fun and backslaps in the Coalition Government, but it's definitely jollier for us watching.
Peter Mannion (Roger Allam)'s tenuous grip on power continued as he found himself in the horrors of Boot Camp, an out-of-office idyll based on Stewart's guru thinking that "isolation is the mother of renewal".
Peter Mannion found himself enduring the horrors of Boot Camp
"This is policy jamming," explained Stewart (Vincent Franklin) as the ideas-ball went around the room. "I feel like I've joined the Scientologists," grumbled Peter, although it did give him a great opportunity for a rejoinder... "When's a party not a party?" asked Stewart. "When it's at your house," said Peter. An instant classic.
Meanwhile back at HQ, all was the usual unseemly tussle for alpha-male status and female attention between those great kings of the walk,...

Academics hope emphasis on survivors' testimonies will change the way in which war history is studied
The arrival in Britain of an archive of tens of thousands of Holocaust testimonies will give much needed historical weight to the experiences of survivors, according to a leading scholar.
David Cesarani, of the Holocaust Research Centre at the University of London, believes that the Us video archive, set up 18 years ago by Steven Spielberg, will help to rebalance a picture that has been dominated by the study of the perpetrators of the atrocities of the second world war.
The extraordinary catalogue of personal testimony, collected by the Shoah Foundation Institute since the film director made Schindler's List in 1993, is housed at the University of Southern California, but on Friday it was formally shared with academics and students at the research centre at Royal Holloway to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. The archive footage, which...

Sometimes the fame can be too much — just ask Young Jeezy and T.I.
On the Snowman's new J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced single "F.A.M.E.," he and Tip expound on the pressures of being in the limelight. "I wanted to let them know 'Fake-Ass Mother----ers Envy,' because they really do, and I just wanted to go in like that," Jeezy told MTV News on the set for the song's video in Atlanta over the weekend.

Candy Paint N Texas Plates 2 has a wide range of samples, in Mixtape Daily.

Killa Kyleon

Main Pick
Artist: Killa Kyleon and Rapid Ric
Representing: Houston
Mixtape: Candy Paint & Texas Plates 2
Real Spit: Killa Kyleon may still be making a name for himself in rap, but the Houston Mc is no rookie.
The seasoned Southern spitter got his start running alongside Big Pokey, Chris Ward and DJ Screw's Screwed Up Click, before really making an impact with Slim Thug's group Boss Hogg Outlawz. It's his gruff vocal tone, butter flow and hard-nosed lyrics that make Killa Kyleon a fan favorite. On his latest mixtape, Candy Paint N Texas Plates 2, Killa puts it all on display.
With the tape's 21 soul-drenched tracks, Killa Ky hooks up with notable producers like Lex Luger, Cookin' Soul and Cy Frye to lay his sound bed.

Artist: CyHi the Prynce

Mixtape: Jack of All Trades
Real Spit: CyHi the Prynce figured he would end the summer the same way he started: with a free mixtape. In June, the G.O.O.D. Music soldier released Royal Flush 2 to much fanfare and as August rolled to a close, the Mc once again got to work with his Jack of All Trades tape.
The Atlanta rapper teamed with both DJ Scream and DJ Spinz to gather a bunch of familiar instrumentals that would showcase his rhyme skills. As far as the title of the tape, it's all pretty simple if you let the Prynce tell it.
