Prior to the release of Star Trek (2009), she was the only actor other than William Shatner to play Captain James T. Kirk in any "Star Trek" television episode or film.
Her first husband was actor Steve Reeves whom she married on January 31, 1955 while she was still a teenager. They divorced on September 4, 1956.
