Acted in the 1984 world premiere of Larry Shue's play "Wenceslas Square" for the Chicago Theatre Project at The Theatre Building in Chicago. The four-character play was directed by Tom Mula and also featured Gary Houston, Jeffrey Hutchinson and Barbara E. Robertson.

(1999) He acted in Martin McDonagh's play, "The Beauty Queen of Leenane", at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois with Laurie Metcalf and Christopher Fitzgerald in the cast. Randall Arney was the director. Michael Stuart Kirkpatrick and Richard Woodbury composed the original incidental music.

(1989) He acted in Frank Galati's adaptation of John Steinbeck's novel, "The Grapes of Wrath", at the Lyttelton Theatre in London, England with the Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company including Gary Sinise, Terry Kinney, Alan Wilder, Robert Breuler, Lois Smith, Lucina Paquet, Nathan Davis, Laura McMahon, Luke Goodrich, Jeff Perry, James Noah, Sally Murphy, Mark Deakins and Jim True-Frost in the cast. Frank Galati was also the director.

(2009-2010 Season) He directed Tracy Letts' play, "Killer Joe", at the Profiles Theatre in Chicago, Illinois with Darrell W. Cox in the cast. R&D Choreography were the fight choreography team.

(2009) Directed Theresa Rebeck's suspense play "Mauritius" at Northlight Theater in Skokie, IL, with Anne Adams, Lance Baker, Gary Houston, Daniel Kuhlman and Suzanne Lang.

(July 9, 2007) He acted in Tracy Letts' play, "August: Osage County," at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois with Deanna Dunagan (Violet Weston); Dennis Letts (Bev Weston); Kimberly Guerrero (Johna); Amy Morton (Barbara Fordham); Sally Murphy (Ivy Weston); Mariann Mayberry (Karen Weston); Rondi Reed (Mattie Fae Aiken); Francis Guinan (Charlie Aiken); Ian Barford (Little Charlie) and Jeff Perry in the cast. Anna D. Shapiro was director.
