Jennifer Spence is a multiple award-winning actor known for The Trades (Crave), Travelers (Netflix) and Traces (BBC/UKTV). Born in Toronto to a Japanese Canadian mother and British Canadian father, she studied at the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal before landing in Vancouver where she began her career in film and television. Other memorable appearances include lead, recurring and guest starring roles on The Irrational (NBC), Family Law (CW/Global), Lucky Hank (AMC), You Me Her (Audience Network), The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco (Netflix), The Killing (AMC), Stargate Universe (Syfy) and Continuum (Showcase). Jennifer also starred in and was an associate producer on the multiple award-winning feature film Down River, which was written and directed by her husband Ben Immanuel and released theatrically in Canada to audience and critical acclaim. Next up is new series Happy Face airing on Paramount+ in 2025. One of Jennifer's greatest passions is mentoring young women through various programs in the film, television and theatre community.
