He had his debut in SHOOT Magazine's 2010 New Directors Showcase selected as one of the "world's hot New Directors," held at New York's Directors Guild of America theater. His award winning Levi's "True Love" spec commercial screened at the DGA theater as part of SHOOT's New Directors Showcase. He was also one of the directors chosen for the stage panel to discuss his work. Stanley spoke of his company AboveGrey Pictures and his drive to craft uplifting and entertaining films, yet said he personally is open to larger production house affiliation.
