Dobrinka Stankova was born on December 1,1947 in Sofia . She studied Russian philology, and then graduated in "acting" in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1971. She began to play on the stage of Drama Theater Sliven and since 1972 - at the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" . She participated in various theater productions such as "Kazalar's queen" by Ivan Vazov , "When Thunder Strikes" and "At the foot of Vitosha" by Peyo Yavorov , "From Your Mind Pull" by Griboyedov, "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare; "Dance of Death" by August Strindberg , "The Visit of an Inspector" by John B. Priestley (TV Theatre), "Millionaire" by Jordan Yovkov; "Possessed" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky ; "Church of Wolves" by Petar Atanasov ; "Masters" by Racho Stoyanov; " Ghosts in Naples "by Eduardo de Filippo; " Larry Thompson " by Dushan Kovachevich; " Pygmalion " by Bernard Shaw; "Chocolate's mania "by Blazband, Mother in" All that jazz ". She took part in more than 15 Bulgarian movies. Her husband is great Bulgarian film director Gueorgui Stoyanov. They have a daughter and the son.
