Horst Stein was born on 2 May 1928 in Elberfeld, Germany. He is known for Somebody Killed Her Husband (1978), Too Beautiful for You (1989) and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg (1984). He died on 27 July 2008 in Vandoeuvres, Genève, Switzerland.
