"Every time we open the door, it just leads to some other place." Dark Sky Films has revealed a full official trailer for an indie horror thriller feature titled Hostile Dimensions, made by director Graham Hughes. It's now set for release in August, after first premiering at FrightFest in the UK and Beyond Fest last year. When a graffiti artist seemingly "vanishes", two documentary filmmakers end up traveling through alternate dimensions, facing their worst nightmares to uncover the truth of where they went. This is yet another mix of horror and multiverse storytelling, similar to the other indie sci-fi horror Doors film. These dimensions mix the ordinary with the bizarre - whales floating across the skies, strange creatures, and so much more. Hughes describes it as a "tribute to highly imaginative low-budget films combining found footage with epic sci-fi to create something unique and thrilling." Starring Graham Hughes, Stephen Beavis,...

If there’s one thing that makes UK horror film festival Frightfest stand head and shoulders above others of its ilk, it’s the amount of attendees that have gone on to create their own horror movies – be they features or shorts – some of which, like last summer’s Banjo, have gone on to play the festival itself – inpsiring more Frightfesters in some kind of horrific viscious circle!
One such Frightfest attendee turned filmmaker is Katie Bonham, whose fourth horror short, Mindless, starring Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Nightbreed), has its world premiere at this years Frightfest Glasgow. Though to be fair, Bonham’s no stranger to Glasgow – this is the second year in a row she has screened a short a Frightfest Glasgow; with her previous short film, The Paper Round, shown last year.
