Somalatha Subasinghe was born in 1936 in Ceylon. She was an actress, known for Maha Gedara (1982), Viragaya (1987) and This Is My Moon (2000). She was married to Lionel Fernando. She died on 30 May 2015 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
