Adam Suschitzky
- Cinematographer
- Camera and Electrical Department
Adam is a third-generation cinematographer. He grew up around his father and grandfather while they made some of the world's most iconic feature films of recent times.
From a very young age taking photographs and learning to print in the family darkroom was just the start of Adam's lifelong journey into the art of image making.
Graduating from the National Film School in the UK in 1997 Adam began shooting commercials on the international circuit until long form came calling just a short while later.
At the start of the new millennium Adam turned his attention to TV dramas, photographing hit shows such as Spooks (MI5), Hustle, Life on Mars and Ashes To Ashes. He often shot period pieces like as Jane Austen's Emma, Upstairs Downstairs, Titanic and The Bletchley Circle. Within the next ten years Adam had photographed some of the most successful and creative dramas in the UK including the debut feature film, Middletown, with director Brian Kirk staring Emmy award winner, Mathew McFadyen.
In recent years the North American streaming market has kept Adam very busy. Shooting for the likes of Apple TV, Netflix, Paramount Plus, AMC and Warners on many hit shows such as Tales of the Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, Yellowstone, Suspicion and most recently the hotly awaited sci-fi series Orphan Black Echoes.
Adam was nominated for his work on the mini series Titanic and subsequently became a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
