Kimi'Sung recently returned to her first love and career of acting performing in"Every 28 Hours" at Fishtank Theatre; "Green Book Wine Club Train Trip" at Olathe Civic Theatre; "Letters From Freedom Summer" at Kansas City Repertory Theatre; and in the role of "Hope Anderson" in the 48 Hour Film, "Candy Crush" with Francine Locke. Also an experienced talk show host who created the 1998 "Kimi'Sung and Kids" show for New York City local television, Kimi'Sung is in production on a new web series titled, "Music and Art". Prior to her 20 year absence to raise her children and build upon her higher education, Kimi'Sung was a member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild where her first professional job was booked at the age of 17 as the lead in the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre production of "Checkmate" in San Francisco. Kimi'Sung has appeared in over 30 theatre, film, television and music video productions combined. You may have seen her in the role of Sunni opposite Martin Lawrence in Reginald Hudlin's, "House Party"; Grammy Winner, Michael Bolton's, "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay"; Grammy Winner, Michael Rose's, "Too Short Temper"; or as "Cleopatra" in the star-studded Non-Traditional Casting Symposia in Los Angeles and San Francisco, to name a few. Kimi'Sung's ability to create intense layered characters has been recognized by theatre critics in New York, Connecticut, Maine, and California. Kimi'Sung studied theatre at Santa Rosa Junior College and Berkeley Repertory Theatre where she was an acting intern under Sharon Ott. She received her BA in Political Science and Ancient Classical Studies; her Masters in Public Administration; and attended Law School as well as received her graduate studies in Anthropology at Harvard University. A native of New York City, Kimi'Sung now lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
