Following its series premiere last week Thursday and a special preview following the AFC Divisional Playoff game on Sunday, CBS has announced that “Hollywood Squares” will now air Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. starting Wednesday, January 29. The final Thursday installment of the series will air on Thursday, January 23 at 8:00 p.m. Et/Pt.
Hosted by Nate Burleson, with Drew Barrymore (“The Drew Barrymore Show”) appearing as the center square, “Hollywood Squares” is a primetime revival of the iconic game show, and thus far has performed well for CBS, giving the network good reason to utilize the series as the lead-in to its Wednesday game night programming block after it was originally scheduled to join the night in the 10:00 p.m. Et/Pt slot.
The Wednesday lineup will now kick off at 8:00 p.m. with “Hollywood Squares,” followed by all-new episodes of “The Price is Right at Night” at 9:00 p.

After a 15-year run on CBS daytime, The Talk is coming to an end. While it was thought that some past hosts may make a return for the big series finale, one of them that is not is Sharon Osbourne. Cts has the scoop on the stunning reason why.
Sharon Osbourne’s Reason For Missing The Talk’s Finale
The Talk’s very last show takes place on December 20, 2024. Current co-hosts Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Jerry O’Connell will say goodbye to fans, and the entire show is expected to be a major event.

Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Natalie Morales bid farewell to “The Talk” on Friday as the CBS daytime show aired its series finale after 15 seasons.
Kloots, in particular, found herself tearing up over the emotional episode, as she offered a message to their loyal audience through tears.
“I live with a child, you know, so coming here every day and being able to talk to five, or four people, obviously — five, I’ll include you guys [the audience], cause you’re a part of it — about really fun, silly topics to important topics, but to be able to talk … I’m so grateful for that,” she shared. “I think we can’t forget that. Listen to each other, talk to one another, don’t fight with each other, really appreciate each other’s opinions, because that’s what we got to do everyday. And it was so beautiful.

After 15 seasons, over 2,000 episodes, and a week’s worth of final celebrations, The Talk has closed up shop. The series finale on Friday (December 20) was a celebratory look back on the show’s Emmy-winning run, with hosts Sheryl Underwood, Natalie Morales, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, and Akbar Gbajabiamila getting special shoutouts from celebrity friends, superlative awards presented by America’s Got Talent‘s Howie Mandel, and montages looking back on their years of hosting. A lengthy video montage showed highlights of Underwood’s many episodes, from her comedic to more emotional moments, culminating in a standing ovation for the comedian. The hosts also looked back on what they loved most about their time on the series. Kloots, who started on the show when they were doing...

The Talk aired its final episode on Friday, December 20. Some viewers will catch it live, while others will stream it the following day on Paramount Plus. But the Og co-hosts won’t be attending the finale. They still have beef with Sheryl Underwood.
Bad Blood
The Talk Og co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen Moonves, and Carrie Ann Inaba will not appear in the final episode. Only the current panel, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Natalie Morales, and Sherly Underwood, will be in attendance. An insider told The U.S. Sun that most of the bad blood stems from Sheryl.
The comedian was previously accused of encouraging a “toxic work environment” and “forcing out” the Og co-hosts. Another insider dished more details on the behind-the-scenes drama. Sharon was asked to return to the talk show but turned it down because of her feud with Sheryl. It turns out she wasn’t the only one.

“I just wanted to know why everyone is being so nice today.”
That’s how host Jerry O’Connell kicked off the final episode Friday of The Talk, which is signing off at 2,993 episodes and 15 seasons on CBS. After receiving raucous applause from the studio audience — a handful of whom have been attending the Studio City, CA. taping of the daytime talk show since day one — host Amanda Kloots choked up as she reflected on how important it’s been to listen to one other and “really appreciate each other opinions.”
“That’s what we got to do everyday,” Kloots said through tears. “It’s about talking, not fighting, and being apart of each other’s family.”
For host Sheryl Underwood, her 14 seasons on the show has been about “fashion evolution.” “You’ve seen things happening for me,” said Underwood, who later admitted off-camera that she never really learned to walk in heels.

“The Talk” executive producer Rob Crabbe is getting a little too familiar with TV goodbyes. A year and a half after his previous talker, “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” signed off, he’s now doing the same thing on Friday with “The Talk.”
It’s a different kind of show, and therefore a different kind of goodbye. But still, there are similarities to the sign-off. “The emotional undercurrent of what the shows were trying to accomplish is the same,” Crabbe told Variety. “You’re trying to express joyfulness. When CBS’ The Talk signs off for good on December 20, it will be Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood sharing their final goodbyes — not the myriad of hosts who came before them.
Though all the previous emcees of the show will be honored in a goodbye package, it was important that these final episodes be about the current hosts, explains Executive Producer Rob Crabbe. (Founding host Holly Robinson Peete was on October 1 but was primarily there to promote Queens Court on Peacock).
“The show at its core is about these five people who get along very well, who enjoy being with each other and get to share their opinions on television every day,” Crabbe, who joined the show in season 14, tells Deadline. “I didn’t want to go away from the core tenet of the show.”

After a 15-year run and nearly 3,000 episodes, The Talk is coming to an end on Friday, December 20. The CBS talk show, which served as a great vehicle to promote the network’s lineup and often shined a spotlight on soaps and daytime alumni, began in 2010 following the cancellation of beloved series As the World Turns. Melissa Jaret Winokur was a special correspondent. Robinson Peete, Remini, and Winokur were all gone by Season 2. That’s when Underwood and Aisha Tyler were added to the panel. Chen (pictured above for her birthday celebration...
