Frantisek Valert was born on 21 August 1932 in Konice, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a cinematographer, known for Ta nase písnicka ceská (1967), Svetáci (1969) and Dvanáct (1964). He died on 20 September 1993 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
