Richard Van Oosterhout

Richard van Oosterhout has studied interior design, photography and film. He worked in the theatre (lighting/sound designer) and the visual arts (assistant curator and artist) before moving into the world of filmmaking.
He is based in Belgium and works as a DP since the mid-nineties. Next to that Richard is also initiator and co-editor of a book on contemporary cinematography called 'Shooting time'. Also he initiated the annual Robby Müller award.
