Almost three full seasons after Ralph Dibny arrived on The Flash, his future love interest Sue Dearbon finally set foot in Central City. And though her arrival was certainly long-anticipated, her presence has proven more than worth the wait.
This version of Sue is everything we could ever have asked for, bringing a fresh pop of energy to the canvas and instantly charming both Ralph and viewers everywhere. More importantly, it’s been apparent from the start that Sue’s narrative arc is destined to be something much meatier and more compelling than her comics story which, much as it pains me to admit it, generally just required her to love Ralph and die violently.
The Flash’s version of this character has a story and an agenda of her own, none of which is erased or lessened by her obvious (and fairly adorable) connection with Ralph. Everyone wins!

Cue in the Johnny Cash music.
On The Flash Season 6 Episode 6, we got a treat.
Some have mixed feelings about this season, but it's been a great juggling act of humor and horror.
Who knew Ralph had that much charisma?
His one-liners and debonair persona was flooring. We can see how Sue would eventually fall for him.
I spent the whole summer with the rich, the famous, and the infamous. Relax, I got this.
Ralph Permalink: I spent the whole summer with the rich, the famous, and the infamous. Relax, I got this. Added: November 19, 2019
He is a great detective and better with people then he is given credit.
His style and smooth speech really did a number on his image.
You could see Ralph stepping up and taking charge to protect the city.
Just look how far our little giraffe has come from his start on the show. I'm so proud.

While 2018 has yet to officially start, we already know something about the year ahead—it's going to be filled with purple. On Thursday, Pantone announced the 2018 color of the year as shade 18-3838 Ultra Violet. "We wanted to pick something that brings hope and an uplifting message," Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, explained to The New York Times. "It's also the most complex of all colors," she continued to the newspaper, "because it takes two shades that are seemingly diametrically opposed—blue and red—and brings them together to create something new." While the regal shade may be an optimistic...

Pantone has announced Ultra Violet as its Color of the Year for 2018, but just who are the experts that make this decision each December?
Pantone got its start in 1963. Founder Lawrence Herbert created a system for identifying, matching and communicating colors for consistency across the print and textile design industries. His initial work led to the Pantone Matching System, a book that standardized colors across these fields.

Pantone announced “Ultra-Violet” as the official 2018 Color of the Year, a bright, highlighter hue used throughout history to represent political symbolism. The shade has also been favorited by famous faces ranging from Prince to Queen Elizabeth and popped up often on the 2018 fashion runways. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, told the Times that the bright purple shade “communicates originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking.”
Pantone’s official definition of the color describes it as “complex and contemplative, Ultra Violet suggests the mysteries of the cosmos, the intrigue of what lies ahead, and the discoveries beyond where we are now.

The documentary shorts presented at the Tribeca Film Festival included both human stories and New York’s past. The films delved into themes of chaos, survival, and a glimpse into a life of the city that forever evolves but a time past that cannot be forgotten. After the screening, the filmmakers joined in for a Q&A.
About the Film: "Joe's Violin"
A 91-year-old Holocaust survivor donates his violin to an instrument drive, changing the life of a 12-year-old schoolgirl from the Bronx and unexpectedly, his own.
About the Director: Kahane Cooperman is the director/producer of "Joe's Violin." She has also directed several other documentaries. She is currently the showrunner/executive producer of "The New Yorker Presents." Prior to that role, she was a co-executive producer of ‘The Daily Show’ with Jon Stewart. She began her career at Maysles Films.
Kahane Cooperman talks about "Joe’s Violin"
Cooperman began by introducing the two subjects of her film who were seated in the audience, the violin owner Joseph Feingold and Brianna.
“The way I got this idea was very simple. My car radio was on and I tuned on the classical radio station Wqxr and I heard a promo for their instrument drive; it said donate your instruments and the instruments are going to New York City school kids. They mentioned the donations they already had gotten and one of the instruments was Joseph’s violin. I just thought, 'I wonder if there's a story there with this violin and if the student who gets the violin will know the story.' I got in touch with the radio station and they allowed me the privilege of pursuing the story and this film is what unfolded. It was a very moving experience. I do love music but I don't play an instrument. I think music is incredibly powerful but I'm also moved by the idea of how a small gesture can make you dream and change someone’s life. Somehow the idea of this was very compelling to me and that it might play out in the context of this one instrument shared by two people who were born 80 years apart.
About the Film: "Mulberry"
This cinematic portrait of Little Italy explores how a working class neighborhood of tenement buildings transformed into the third most expensive zip code in the United States. Part funny, part sad, the film investigates how gentrification and rent control are affecting the neighborhood’s long-term residents.
About the Director: Paul Stone
Brooklynite Paul Stone started his directing career in the edit room at Ridley Scott & Associates. In "Tales of Time Square," Paul recreated 1980’s Time Square. The footage was often mistaken for stock and went on to be screened at over 50 festivals in the U.S. and abroad. His previous short ‘Man Under’ (Tff 2015) explored the rise in NYC subway suicides.
Paul Stone talks about "Mulberry"
“I saw my neighborhood disappearing, changing. I have no problem with gentrification, but it’s gotten to a point of hyper gentrification. Little Italy in New York is known for its soul and its people, and it was rapidly disappearing. I wanted to tell the story about who inspired me in terms of my friends and that Little Italy is still alive and well, and that there are still a lot of characters left.
About the Film: "Starring Austin Pendleton"
Austin Pendleton is that quintessential character actor you might recognize. We follow Austin as he reflects on his life and craft, while his A-list peers discuss his vast influence, dogged determination, and what it means to be an original in today's celebrity-obsessed world.
About the Directors Gene Gallerano and David H. Holmes
David H. Holmes has studied and acted under the direction of Mr. Pendleton. His film and television credits include ‘Birdman’, ‘Law and Order’, ‘Girls’, ‘Mr. Robot’, and ‘The Following’. Gene Gallerano is the co-founder of The Neboya Collective, and has produced and starred in works including, Occupy’, ‘Texas’, ‘Fireworks’, and ‘The Talk Men’, which he also directed.
Holmes and Gallerano talk about "Starring Austin Pendleton"
The directors met ten years ago in an Off-Broadway show and studied with Austin Pendleton for about five years. They consider him a big mentor. “We look up to him a lot and we wanted to make sure in the end that we could look him in the eye. He was very happy we made the film. At the Tribeca Talks the other day it was the first time Austin saw it. Someone asked him if he had any input into the film and he said no because then you start manipulating it and controlling it; particularly his stutter, he said I would have told them ‘cut that’.” He wasn’t preventing us from making art.”
About the Film: "Taylor and Ultra on the 60s, The Factory and Being a Warhol Superstar"
Warhol superstar Ultra Violet (Isabelle Colin Dufresne) and Lower East Side icon Taylor Mead (poet/actor/artist) share their stories of Manhattan in the 1960s.
About the Director: Brian Bayerl

Brian Bayerl talks about "Taylor and Ultra on the 60s, The Factory and Being a Warhol Superstar"
“Our producer came across photographs of Robert Indiana, Andy Warhol, Taylor Mead and Ultra Violet and a lot of other figures of the sixties Pop Art. When documenting those photographs we met Taylor Mead and Ultra Violet and instantly fell in love with them; they were just so captivating and charismatic and fun that over the next four years we had opportunities to interview them and gather footage. When we lost both of them, we were approached by the Warhol Museum about putting something together and that's exactly what we wanted to do. We put this film together as an homage to both of them.”

Alex Kliment, Dana O’Keefe, and Michael Tucker talk about "Dead Ringer"
“Our film started with learning about the statistic that there were only four outdoor telephone booths left in New York City. The city's replacing them with Wi-Fi hotspots, We thought, ‘What's a fun way to dramatize the changing urban landscape that also reflects a lot of other changes of the human landscape and how we relate to each other. Peter Webber’s $2m docu-drama One River (El Rio) and Miguel Urrutia’s English-language thriller Madness are among 33 film projects in development being presented this week at Bam (July 13-17).
Colombia’s biggest film market also features 18 screenings of films in an advanced state of development, alongside the regular Bam Projects category.

It’s a thrill to see two out of three of the CineMart Awards are to filmmakers we are tracking: “Luxembourg” by Myroslav Slaboshptyskly from Ukraine and Cuba’s Claudia Calvino and Carlos Lechuga's “Santa y Delfin” won the inaugural Wouter Barendrecht Award. Best unpublished screenplay prize was awarded to the team this past December at Havana’s Festival de Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano. The Ukrainian-German production to be produced by Miff’s Business Square founder Anna Katchko, “Luxembourg”, was awarded the €7,000 Arte International Prize after winning the Sundance Aj+ sponsored Global Filmmaking Award of Us $10,000.
The project has a budget of €1.5 million and is half financed by the Ukrainean State Film Agency. It received a grant from Hubert Bals Fund earlier and will be at Berlin’s Efm Coproduction Market next week. This U.K.-German-French coproduction is being sold internationally by Ultra Violet who sold writer-director Myroslav Slaboshptyskly’s first film “The Tribe” to 35 territories. Myroslav and I spoke at Sundance and he gave me a link to his short “Nuclear Waste” which is a pilot for this film, shot in the Chernobyl exclusion zone and awarded the Silver Leopard of Tomorrow at the Locarno Film Festival and showed at many festivals.
CineMart 2015 awards were announced recently, marking the close of the 32nd edition of the co-production market. Dutch/French/Belgian production “Tonic Immobility” was awarded the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award of €20,000, which is given to a project presented by a European producer.
CineMart selected 24 international projects to participate in the four day event which has been one of the most successful in recent years. A panel discussion to launch Iffr’s new VoD initiative, Tiger Release, was well attended with several filmmakers now in discussion with the Iffr team on releasing their new films via this platform. Multiple conferences and panels covering topics ranging from “Making the most of a film festival” to “The Director-Producer Partnership” were held in front of packed audiences who were invited to be involved in the debates and receive advice. The "Creative Europe Day" on Tuesday, January 27th which offered advice and guidance on creating beyond the boundaries of Europe proved one of the highlights of Iffr 2015.
On making the announcement Head of Industry & CineMart, Marit van den Elshout commented “The quality of our line-up this year is something the whole team is very proud of - so many standout projects with talented teams behind them, the award winners exemplify this. We hosted multiple extremely well attended panels and conversations, experienced great success with the launch of Tiger Release and the enthusiasm with which our Creative Europe day was received all adds up to one of the strongest CineMart’s in a long time. ”
This year’s Eurimages Co-Production Development Award winner, “Tonic Immobility” by Nathalie Teirlinck, (The Netherlands, France, Belgium), is a Bart van Langendonck, Xavier Rombaut, Savage Film production. It tells the story of Alice, an escort who abandons her baby son Robin. Unexpectedly, seven years later Alice is reunited with the boy and they must find a way to co-exist while Alice is confronted with the fact that true emotions can't be controlled and that intimacy can lead to vulnerability. On the Jury’s decision Dorien van de Pas commented “ The award is being given to a project from a multitalented first time feature director who will tell a very emotional, universal story. His short films demonstrate a strong visual style in combination with a great focus on sound. ”
The Arte International Prize winner “Luxembourg”, (Ukraine, Germany) by Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy, and produced by Anna Katchko with Tandem Production is a film noir with touches of a western. A great project by a very talented director, stunningly set up for a strong and cinematic story. On presenting the award Annamaria Lodato commented. “This year the Arte International Prize is awarded to a talented, daring and radical director. He is preparing a film that explores a world unknown to most of us: today’s Chernobyl. Far from being a ‘disaster film’, it is a story about living in the Chernobyl zone, a world with its own rules, an almost primitive community that the director knows from the inside. ”
The Wouter Barendrecht Award winner “Santa y Delfin” (Cuba), by Carlos Lechuga is produced by Claudia Calvino and Producciones de la 5ta Avenida. Cuba, homosexuality, censorship, working class and intellectuals, a young talented director and a real story - real potential for a hit project.
On presenting the award Managing Director of Fortissimo Films, Nelleke Driessen commented “The Wouter Barendrecht Foundation (Wbf) encourages the work of talented young filmmakers, we encourage daring films, films that oppose social conventions, with a large urgency. There were 8 films eligible for this award, but in the end only one can win and 'Santa y Delfin' stood out amongst all - if Wouter were here he would be thrilled with the choice. ”

On the announcement of the Iffr Audience Award 2015 Wolfson commented “The audiences who come from all over the Netherlands and around the world to participate in the Festival and explore our diverse, thought provoking programme are integral to Iffr. It would not be the special Festival it is without them so we would like to thank all who joined us in celebrating cinema this year and of course congratulations to James who created a wonderful, personal film.”
On the announcement of the Hubert Bals Fund Dioraphte Award, Manager of the Hubert Bals Fund, Iwana Chronis commented “I am thrilled with the reception the Hbf supported films received throughout the twelve days of the Festival. Oscar Ruiz Navia is a talented filmmaker with a long and successful career ahead of him, this recognition is fully deserved, we are so pleased to have been a part of helping getting this film to the big screen .”
A highly acclaimed drama, "The Dark Horse" tells the true and moving story of Genesis Potini, who fought for the future of disadvantaged children in New Zealand until his death in 2011. In spite of his own bipolar disorder, he taught them to play chess and fight for opportunities. "The Dark Horse" is both amusing and raw, and above all intensely moving. Born in New Zealand, director James Napier Robertson made a name for himself in the world of television before switching to cinema. He appeared as an actor in the series "The Tribe" and "Shortland Street." He directed his first feature film "I’m Not Harry Jenson" in 2009.
Directed by Oscar Ruiz Navia, "Los Hongos" is an autobiographically inspired drama based around two skater friends who are at the heart of the colorful, noisy street and youth culture of Cali, Colombia. With a warm heart, Ruiz tells the story of Ras and Calvin, who are looking for their own voice, a stage and of course freedom, love and fun. Born in Colombia, Oscar Ruiz Navia’s debut film "Crab Trap" won a Fipresci Award at the Berlinale in 2010. Prior to that he was focused on the development and production of independent cinema in Colombia and founded the production company Contravia Films having previously studied Social Communications and Journalism.

Something of his sad freedom
As he rode the tumbril
Should come to me, driving,
Saying the names
Tollund, Grauballe, Nebelgard,
Watching the pointing hands
Of country people,
Not knowing their tongue.
Out here in Jutland
In the old man-killing parishes
I will feel lost,
Unhappy and at home.
—Seamus Heaney, The Tollund Man
It ended, like all journeys do, in Solitude, a long way from any cinema. Solitude—or rather Zolitūde, in Latvian—is a suburb of Riga, four miles as the crow flies from the fancy Scandi-Gothic-Art Nouveau city centre; six miles on foot if the pedestrian avoids diversions. But by the time I reached Solitude on that cold December Saturday afternoon, however, my inadvertent divagations must have pushed the total to the ten-mile mark. I'd looked at maps prior to departing from my hotel, of course but deliberately didn't bring one along (not a fan); I don't...

I met David Henry Gerson in Paris last week after seeing his film there at Champs Elysee Film Festival. "Automatic At Sea" competed for finishing funds in the Us In Progress section at the Fest. (Good film, didn't win.)
Us in Progress, Paris
David starred in and produced this film which was directed and written by Matthew Lessner.
In 2011 they were both in Park City in January. Matthew's first feature "The Woods" was in Sundance, New Frontiers section and was distributed in U.S. by Film Movement. It was shortlisted for Independent Spirit and Gotham Awards. The San Francisco Film Society has awarded him two grants for his upcoming feature "Terror Tuesday".
David's film showed then in Slamdance. A documentary, " Ultra Violet for Sixteen Minutes" showed a Warhol period screen test of his future star Ultra Violet and included an interview. She died recently and in the film discussed her art and connection to Mormonism.
David liked Matthew's film then and describes it as summing up his generation. 'The Obama-era-over-socially-networked generation. The generation is overwhelmed by options. The children of the '90's bear a darkness under the surface. The FaceBook feed, scrolling not landing, the big issues are not dealt with.'
So they worked together in "Automatic At Sea". The film is contemplative, dreamlike, even poetic. It has three characters in a beach house, David and two young women. There is no story and it is a study of characters and their interaction. David says of his character there, 'he can do anything but therefore does nothing'. I told David of my reactions to the film and we began discussing his views on acting which I found very interesting.
He comes from the Washington DC area and was raised there. He began acting very young and even had a stage at his family home. He remembered Henry Winkler's advice to actors. 'Before acting, get an education.'
In New York he studied Method acting at the Drama Academy. In La he studied with Sandra Secat. 'Acting is deep and personal to me, using dreams and the subconscious. It is complicated and powerful, as the actor is powerless. I want to do roles I believe in and that create opportunities.'
He goes on, 'Film has responsibility. It occupies minds for a few hours and therefore film needs to inspire. Actors in film need to create poetic art, to give voice to emotional issues, to encourage action. This becomes the question for a film character overwhelmed by responsibility.'
In Sundance '14 he had a short, 13 minutes, the L.A .based " Chapel Perilous ”. David was lead actor and producer. It won an Audience Award and was by the same team that did the feature. It is about war and the earth's destruction. Manly, threatening and aloof in his role in “Automatic at Sear", in life he is also smart (a graduate of Colombia University with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and currently attending the American Film Institute) and engaged.
His future? David says, 'I want to keep acting and always be looking at other options'.

Writer/director Matthew Lessner and producer David Henry Gerson presented "Automatic at Sea". Their short film " Chapel Perilous " previously won the 2014 Audience Award at Sundance. Very few of Andy Warhol's anointed "superstars" managed a long shelf-life. They simply were too wild, too beautiful, and too damned. There were the poor little rich girl Edie Sedgwick, the transgender icon Candy Darling, and the husky, glacial, heroin-swamped charm of Nico. All gone, along with a cavalcade of others; too soon and in the 20th century. Ultra Violet survived into this one, and originally arrived as a somebody already in the anybody everybody world of The Factory.

It's a shock to go back and watch "Midnight Cowboy" 45 years after its debut (on May 25, 1969) and see how raw and otherworldly it looks. After all, the X-rated Best Picture Oscar-winner has been so thoroughly assimilated into American pop culture that even kiddie entertainments like the Muppets have copied from it.
The tale of the unlikely friendship between naïve Texas gigolo Joe Buck (Jon Voight) and frail Bronx con man Enrico "Ratso" Rizzo (Dustin Hoffman), "Midnight Cowboy" was initially considered so risqué that it's the only X-rated movie ever to win the Academy's top prize (though after it won, the ratings board reconsidered and gave the film an R). Still, the film featured two lead performances and a few individual scenes that were so iconic that homages (and parodies) have popped up virtually everywhere. After five decades in show business, Cher is funnier and more outspoken than ever. She talks about Miley Cyrus, America's lurch to the right – and whether Dalí really gave her a vibrator
Cher walks into a London hotel room looking brilliantly Cher-like. She is wearing a leather jacket, tiny skirt, fishnets and big, buckled biker boots. She's got the blow-dried bouffant and pristine makeup of a pop star, but also the subtle swagger of a rock star – just witness the way she instantly dismisses the swarm of managers buzzing around her: "I hate talking with a thousand people around me."
Even more brilliant is how unintimidating Cher is. Up until a year ago that might have been a surprise, but when she joined Twitter in 2012, her public image was transformed. This, for instance, is her current Twitter biography:

Blade Runner is one of those films that ran away with its own future (conveniently perhaps). With less than stunning reviews meeting its release, and more than a few audiences turned off by its strangely dark presentation, the film nevertheless managed to continue to convert fans over several years (amazingly this is the 30th Anniversary release), and now finds itself frequently referred to as the best sci-fi film ever.
The film not only pushed boundaries, and showed us the wild and complex imagination of Ridley Scott in his prime, but kicked off the movie world’s love affair with Phillip K. Dick. Though the screenplay diverges greatly from the source material (as do all films based on his work), the spirit of his story comes through far better than in most efforts.
Blade Runner, which holds up incredibly well today, weaves through surprising complexities, and showcases questions and odd turns enough for multiple viewings.

Sitting pertly on a low-standing couch, Ultra Violet is but one of the many violaceous bursts of color in her Chelsea art studio. As expected, she is dressed in her signature shade of purple, surrounded by similarly colored sculptures, mirrors and canvases that litter the studio's floor and crawl up its corners. The famed '60s icon, remembered by most for her association with the enigmatic pop-master, Andy Warhol, has invited us into her private world just one week before the 84th anniversary of Warhol's birth. In commemoration of her former companion, she has agreed to discuss with us something she rarely consents to addressing -- her past.
In her 1988 memoir, "Famous For 15 Minutes: My Years with Andy Warhol", Ultra Violet detailed the chaotic years of living with Andy Warhol and the eccentric members of the Factory. She found herself a "Superstar" among the Warhol disciples after leaving the muse-dom of her former mentor,...

The Easter Bunny loves you. Some great eggs below:
This Week’s Must Read: Jack Sargeant with a really great, detailed piece on the career of New York underground filmmaker Carey Burtt. I mentioned recently on Bad Lit’s Facebook page that Burtt hasn’t gotten enough love and appreciation for his films that he deserves, so this article warmed our cold little hearts immensely. (Image above from Burtt’s classic Mind Control Made Easy.)Frieze has a report on a fairly recently unearthed, previously lost 8mm film by Rudolf Schwarzkogler of the Viennese Actionist art movement, which sheds much needed light on the working process of the filmmaker who passed away in 1969. (P.S. Mr. Sargeant tipped us off to this article, as well.)Rick Trembles has cast another very obscure flick, the 1971 experimental sex farce The Telephone Book, into Motion Picture Purgatory. The film features appearances by Warhol superstars Ondine and Ultra Violet.

Warner Bros. has stopped selling its new releases to Blockbuster in an attempt to force the chain to accept a 28-day rental window. Warners wants Blockbuster to wait that long before renting out DVDs or Blu-rays, the way Netflix and Redbox do. The once giant rental chain is resisting, however, and bought copies of "Horrible Bosses" and "The Green Lantern" from outside sources, rather than the studio, for rental. Those two movies are the first that Warner released on Ultra Violet-enabled discs, which let people store the movies in an internet "cloud"...

Carrey Shows Off His Art
Jim Carrey gave fans a first look at his art skills during an appearance on late night TV in America on Thursday when he previewed huge prints he hopes to "reveal" soon.
The Dumb & Dumber star has discovered a passion for painting and has created a series of masterpieces in his New York studio.
He showed off two of his most recent pieces while talking about his love for art on The Jay Leno Show, revealing he often paints himself in character to help his acting process.
Carrey said, "I'm in heaven, truly in the womb, when I'm doing it. It's physically taxing and a really, really intense process.
"Every character I do on the painting, I'll put a different type of music on; sometimes I'll rave out."
And he showed one photo of a black light painting, in which he posed with Ultra Violet make-up all over his face.
Asked if he was worried about what art critics would make of his creations, he joked, "I'm not worried about critics after (panned film) Ace Ventura."...

The Film:
The tagline for the film was Who is Salt? Let me ask this: what do you think Salt should have been?
But before I answer that question, Salt is very simple – and that’s not a bad thing – an action flick that showcases real stunts over CG and also some of writer Kurt Wimmer’s favorite things: insubordinate employees. Jolie has been severely typecast as an action heroine, from Tomb Raider to Mr. and Mrs. Smith to Wanted, and now this, and while the placement of her character and the film is in a post-Bourne world, Salt is one of her better action roles. It’s her show, even though I really like Chiwetel Ejiofor and Liev Schrieber, they’re given little to do. Why are all Nikolia’s, Russian double-crossing agents? So anyway, as an action movie, it really entertains on basic levels.
At any one twist,...

London, March 24 – A new study hails chocolate as a super food because of the high levels of health-boosting antioxidants it contains.
A recent study at Imperial College, London, showed chocolate can suppress persistent coughing. Another compound, phenylethylamine, is thought to have a mood-boosting effect, reported dailymail.co.uk.
Meanwhile, antioxidants in chocolate are said to protect the skin against Ultra Violet damage. They also boost cardio-vascular health. Some doctors are now even recommending it as.

Welcome to another edition of Gays of Our Lives. This week in Gool Theater, we’ve got some very good clips from As the World Turns. And yet, the show still managed to annoy me. Am I just picky? Watch for yourself and see. Plus, Good Times, Bad Times (Dutch) starts an intriguing plot arc, Roman risks his life on All That Matters and One Life to Live continues to astound and amaze. Thankfully, it’s in a good way.
Gool Scoops And Spoilers has the dish on the new gay storyline on Emmerdale, Kyle and Oliver each make a commitment to Nick on One Life to Live, but can they keep their promises? Plus, Ravi comes to the defense of his sisters on Hollyoaks, Ian is trapped in a dicey situation on Shameless (U.S.), the kids from Glee make it to Sectionals in the final episode until – gasp!

What can you say about someone whose list of interests include horror movies, anime, video games, guns and bows, serial killers, and kung fu movies? Well if you’re talking about Nikki Kruex, you can say that you’re just scratching the surface of this actress, model, musician, paranormal investigator and artistic Jill-of-all-trades...
In fact if you visit her website, www.nikkihomicidek.ws, you’ll find a page for just about every aspect of the entertainment industry. Somehow Nikki still manages to find time for fun and when she does you may find her doing anything from shooting a crossbow to playing Grand Theft Auto. Of course with multiple film projects, a new album coming out soon and a paranormal investigation show just waiting to take off, you won’t find her relaxing much. Fortunately, Nic Brown managed to pin down this creative tornado long enough...

There are many theories, ideas or should I say 'schools of thought' on how the world would end. At the height of the Cold War, nuclear annihilation ranks at the very top. While others argue it will not be man who will destroy the world (directly) but - an epidemic of global proportions (most probably from a potent strain of virus - think: I am Legend) or severe climactic change (another ice age perhaps? That would be Day After Tommorow right?) or mechanical uprising (The Terminator, anyone?) or even attack from the outside - conquering aliens (Mars Attacks!) or perhaps an asteroid. And let's not forget zombies!
