He was an actor and director, known for Flodder 3 (1995), Flodder (1993) and The Indecent Woman (1991). He was married to Wivineke van Groningen. He died on 15 November 1997 in Almere, Flevoland, Netherlands.

Died of a cardiac arrest while doing an improvised stunt during a wrap party for <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0105999/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Flodder (1993)</a> season 4 and 5 on November 15, 1997.

Just like his father, he died because of a cardiac arrest.

His collegues were devastated after his dead; he died totally
unexpected at the age of 47.
