Biography

A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, Jordan has written and produced multiple award-winning films, television and new media that have screened at prestigious festivals such as TIFF, Whistler and Slamdance. Jordan has had the opportunity to collaborate with many film luminaries such as Academy Awarding winner Morgan Freeman, Golden Globe winner Francis Conroy, Emmy winner Vincent D'Onofrio and legendary director Lawrence Kasdan. Jordan's film credits include the comedy hit How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town (2015) which the LA Times called "Hilarious, with surprising heart". The film won Best Film at the Canadian Film Festival, Best Independent Film at The Edmonton Int'l Film Festival and had its US premiere at Slamdance 2016. Released on more than 100 Theatrical screens around the world, the film is available on multiple streaming services around the world.

Jordan's latest film, James vs. His Future Self (2019), which can be seen on Crave in Canada and Amazon Prime in the US, stars Daniel Stern from Home Alone and was nominated for 4 Canadian Screen Awards including Best Screenplay and won 4 Prizes at Toronto After Dark. The film has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was selected for more than a dozen international film festivals. In addition to writing and producing, Jordan has been educating the next generation of filmmakers for the past 9 years and has had the pleasure of starting many successful careers with graduates he's mentored working on series such as The Boys, Star Trek: Discovery, and The Umbrella Academy.
