Ellis Weiner

National Lampoon alumni. Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Was a columnist at Spy following that by freelancing with a variety of publications including The New Yorker, the New York Times Magazine and the Paris Review. He has written 12 books including: National Lampoon's Doon; Howard The Duck (novelization of the feature film); Yiddish With Dick & Jane; The Joy Of Worry; Letters From Cicely; Drop Dead, My Lovely; The Big Boat To Bye-Bye; The Northern Exposure Cookbook: A Community Cookbook From The Heart Of The Alaskan Riviera; The Great Muppet Caper!: The Making Of The Masterpiece (a behind-the-scenes book about the feature film); Decade Of The Year; Santa Lives! Five Conclusive Arguments For The Existence Of Santa Claus; and, Atlas Slugged (AGAIN) a parody of the Ayn Rand novel.
