Later in life he was Michael Caine's personal driver during film projects (and once returned to acting for Caine's TV miniseries Jack The Ripper).

Resembles Killer's Kiss actor Jamie Smith, in movies before, and American actor Robert Walden, in movies after.

As a very young man, he had a walk-on part in the British Film Noir (with American director and stars) Night in the City. He delivers a message to Richard Widmark, and gets a great tip.

Usually played lowlife criminals in British New Wave crime films during the early 1960's. His most important role was in Jungle Street Girls as a gambler who blackmails David McCallum.

In particular roles he'd wear black rimmed glasses (the kind Woody Allen would make famous later): these include The Saint: Starring The Saint (Season 2) and the Neo Noir Thriller PANIC.
