David Willis is a special effects artist originally from Sydney, Australia. David is the Creator and Creative Director at Studio Vida. VIDA.inc makeup and makeup FX studio specializes in creating makeups. character makeups, prosthetics, models and props. gore FX, monsters, life casting, moulding and specialty pieces for the Film, TV, fashion and advertising industry, Additionally creating works for Museums and Theme parks around the world. Based in Sydney, Los Angeles and Singapore. His credits include the Matrix trilogy, Star Wars: Episode II-Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith, Superman Returns and House of Wax. His work has also appeared on runways from Los Angeles to New York to Sydney and in Harper's Bazaar, Clear and Oyster magazines. He is also the Head of Makeup and Wigs at Universal Studios Singapore. David teaches a four day masterclass that covers techniques such as latex prosthetic application, air brushing within FX, old age application with HD, bald caps, tattoo removal, classic character makeup, and beard laying with crepe and lace, to name a few.
