"These men may spend the night in jail, there may be guards all over the place, but when they're with these horses they're free." One Media has debuted a trailer for a film titled Running Wild, a drama about a woman trying to save her ranch by working with convicts to rehabilitate a herd of wild horses that came on to her property. This stars Dorian Brown as Stella Davis, the rancher woman who learns that "there is no better remedy to misfortune than helping another living creature." Indeed. Sharon Stone also stars, along with Tommy Flanagan, Christina Moore, Jason Lewis, Tom Williamson, John Ducey, & Michael Wiseman. This looks like a straight-to-tv Hallmark movie, but somehow it's sneaking into some theaters. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Alex Ranarivelo's Running Wild, direct from YouTube: Running Wild is about Stella Davis, a widow who saves her ranch by working...

James Cameron is returning to television for the first time since his Dark Angel series back in 2000. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new TV adaptation of his 1994 hit feature film True Lies has landed at ABC.
Lightstorm Entertainment and 20th Century Fox TV are producing with Rene Echevarria ('Star Trek', The 4400) serving as writer/showrunner and co-executive producer. Cameron will produce the series.
Still, for a network, having the James Cameron name attached to a project that already possesses movie cred is a huge boon. Moreover, Echevarria has already proven his chops on a variety of series, particularly the wonderful, but short-lived Now and Again, which after only one season was canceled by CBS back in 1999.
Now and Again is particularly pertinent to True Lies, since it concerned a man, Michael Wiseman (Eric Close), whose brain was placed in a genetically engineered super body after a tragic subway accident.

HollywoodNews.com: Tina Fey regrets that she isn’t on board with “Mean Girls 2.”
The actress-writer adapted Michael Wiseman’s novel “Queen Bees and Wannabes,” which Mark Waters directed.
Fey turned down offers from Paramount to make a sequel. Instead, “Mean Girls 2” became a straight-to-dvd production, which is being lensed currently.
“It’s funny, because now it’s shooting and I don’t really have anything to do with it,” Fey tells Digital Spy, “I haven’t read it or anything like that. Paramount was very generous and solicitous with me for several years, saying, ‘Would you like to do it?’ And at the time, I was like, ‘They should just let it be what it is!’”
Maiara Walsh (“Desperate Housewives”), Nicole Gale Anderson, Jennifer Stone and Meaghan Jette Martin are starring in “Mean Girls 2.” The plot, similar to the 2004 installment, follows two girls who must contend with the popular click,...

Never say that Lie to Me (TV) doesn't deliver on the titillation scenes. This episode opens with pert, young and lovely Clara Musso (Melissa George) making passionate love to her husband, Victor (John Aprea), who also happens to be 30 years her senior. She interrupts their afterglow moment, saying she'll be back in half an hour. But the next time we see dear old Victor, he's being carted off in a body bag. Some months later, Clara is being lead into the courthouse, accused of her husband's murder, by a gaggle of press hounds and her lawyer, Zoe Landau (Jennifer Beals): Cal Lightman's (Tim Roth) ex-wife. One person yells out, "How was the sex?" to the widow, specifically to elicit a response. But Zoe knows who would send someone to ask such a question, and goes in search of her ex. Lightman has been contracted by the prosecution to read...
