The first teaser trailer for Jitters, the latest film from British filmmaker Marc Zammit (Witch), has been released, offering a glimpse into what promises to be a haunting psychological thriller. Produced by Aptitude Films, the project is now nearing the end of production and has already generated considerable buzz for its ambitious take on fear, reality, and the unknown.
Jitters follows Detective Collymore, a single father grappling with a mysterious death that defies explanation. Though the case appears routine at first glance, Collymore’s suspicions pull him into a terrifying realm where nothing is as it seems. The deeper he delves, the more he questions his own perceptions, as a sinister force embodied by the chilling Jitters (Daniel Jordan) twists his investigation into a surreal and nightmarish odyssey.
The film also features Anto Sharp (The Dare) as Collymore’s partner, Detective Harding, with Boo Miller, Jess Impiazzi, and Lauren Budd rounding out the cast.

At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – but for the month of October, we were celebrating Halloween all month long with our JoBlotober event. It was all horror all the time… and while the event is now over, as Halloween has come and gone, two of the three movies we released this week were still JoBlotober horror releases.
The movies that have been released on JoBlo TV over the last week are the slasher Death Cast, the supernatural horror film Pumpkins, and (to kick off November) the action fantasy film Game of Dragons. Here’s some information on each one of them:

Witch isn’t your typical witch-hunt movie; it’s much more than that. Directed by Craig Hinde and Marc Zammit, the story is set in England in 1585 and follows William, a blacksmith, and his wife, Twyla. Twyla is being hunted down because everyone in town believes she’s a witch. Judge Hopkins, a man obsessed with wiping out witchcraft and all things ungodly, leads the hunt. But here’s where it gets interesting: Twyla had a dream about a girl named Johanna murdering her parents and walking through the village holding their severed heads. The question is, why would Twyla have that dream? Then, during the court hearing, Johanna drops a bombshell by claiming Twyla is her mother even though they don’t know each other that well and both are of the same age. So, what’s the connection between Twyla and Johanna? It’s a mystery that hints at something deeper.

In a wholly original turn, writer-directors Craig Hinde and Marc Zammit spin out an atmospheric, but orthodox British horror into realms of multiverse-type mind expanding entanglement
After kicking off with an atmospheric but orthodox piece of hoary British witchfinder gothic, Witch takes a genuinely unexpected and ambitious swerve after 45 minutes; as if writer-directors Craig Hinde and Marc Zammit had divined a scenario through a Ouija board during a fly agaric bender in the small hours. Divulging it would earn a dose of the ducking stool, and in any case it’s not quite clear that all the details hold up. But to broach the general nature of their devilry, it zooms this story of religious persecution out into a multiverse-type entanglement.
In 1575, the Horned One appears to have targeted the town of Dawnbrook; a woman takes to its streets carrying her parents’ severed heads. But at the murderer’s trial,...

Action thriller Never Let Go is now available on demand so we sat down with actress Angela Dixon to discuss her role in the film.
How did you first get into acting?
It all began at a very young age. I had always wanted to be an actor growing up but I didn’t really think that it could be more than a dream. Then, at the age of 16, I played the part of Barbara Allen in ‘Dark of the Moon’ at college and it appeared that I had some talent. At that point it started to become a reality for me. I studied drama at college, University and finally I went to drama school. So all in all I studied drama and acting for 6 years. Although the real learning starts when you are actually on the job.
What first attracted you to the film Never Let Go?

A quick-thinking taxi driver is being hailed a hero for attempted to stop Saturday’s deadly terror attack in London by attempting to plow into them with his cab.
The driver, identified only as Chris, told Lbc Radio that he had a passenger inside his cab near the bridge as he watched the unthinkable begin to unfold in front of them.
“I didn’t see the van mount the curb, but I saw everything else,” he said. “A van came from London Bridge itself, went between the traffic light system and rammed it towards the steps. It knocked loads of people down.

I had no real expectations going into Pandorica and I came out of it very pleasantly surprised by Tom Paton’s genre busting futuristic dystopian, sci-fi horror, suspense, action-filled tale of what happens when humanity is devolved into its most basic instincts. Well I did say this film was genre busting! One of the best things about Pandorica is that you really can’t put it in any bracket (no matter how hard you try for the purpose a review).
Set somewhere in the future we meet a small group of Natives from the Varosha tribe. Tribe leader Nus (Luke D’Silva) has brought his three bravest and best to take part in a Violent trial to determine who should be leader of the Tribe when Nus expires.

Dystopian fiction imagines worlds where society has devolved from its ideal form into a frightening, undesirable place. Tom Paton’s film “Pandorica” takes this cue and is set in a world plunged in a new dark age where humanity has reverted back to its primal state. A trio of youths — Eiren (Jade Hobday), Ares (Marc Zammit), and Thade (Adam Bond) — have been selected to take part in the leadership trials of The Varosha Tribe, with the winner becoming the tribe’s leader.
