Founding member of The Sisters of Mercy, a UK-born musical group that
was popular throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. The band has
undergone various incarnations, and Eldritch is currently the only
founding member to retain the band name. Eldritch has not recorded an
album of new, commercially-released material in nearly a decade,
following a long stretch of legal and creative struggles.
