A group of high school friends celebrating Blood Night, the anniversary of the death of a local axe murderer endearingly know as Mary Hatchet, get more than they bargained for when, after attempting to conjure her spirit with a Ouija board, they begin to meet their brutal and blood soaked deaths.  Is it really Mary Hatchet's spirit or something far more unexpected and sinister?

Naughties scream queen Danielle Harris loves churning out genre flicks and for those of you whom remember the long-forgotten about release 'Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet' are in for a treat as it'll finally be hitting DVD shelves this June across the Us. Co-starring Bill Moseley, Nate Dushku, Samantha Facchi, Anthony Marks, Billy Magnussen, Patricia Raven, Alissa Dean, Maryam Basir and Samantha Hahn this Frank Sabatella helmed slasher flick will arrive on 14 June courtesy of Lionsgate. The creators of Blood Night: The Legend Of Mary Hatchet sent along word that the official website for the grisly new indie feature has gotten an upgrade. They also passed on a couple of exclusive new pics you can see below the cut.

The enhanced site, which can be seen here, “is a cool and creepy place with tons of info, photos and even an awesome ‘Escape from the Asylum’ game,” Blood Night director Frank Sabatella tells Fango. “There’s a bunch of great downloads, some awesome videos and even a chance to win prizes!
