- Stevens' first film work is the 16mm short "Obsession: The Bryan Rearden Story", a mocumentary detailing the crazed obsession of a director with his leading lady. It was awarded the Independent Spirit Award at the 2002 NY International Film Festival. He has since gone on to write and direct numerous short films on 8mm, including Miscommunications, The Hunger and Trapped.
