Spring is always the saddest time of year. With cancelation announcements, or final seasons ending, some of our favorite shows and characters leave the air, never to be seen again.

The one case that may surprise is Nashville was canceled on ABC on May 12, but it has been revived for Season 5 on Cmt.

Below are 13 of our favorite shows – both old and new series – that we are saddest to see the air. You shall be missed.

1. The Good Wife The Good Wife was once one of the best shows on television, with complex characters who challenged each other at every turn. That's the show I'm going to miss. Laura Diamond has solved her last mystery, the mystery of will there be a third season. The Mysteries of Laura has been canceled by NBC. We have to go back! In an exclusive, Entertainment Weekly (EW) reports NBC's Mysteries of Laura will feature a mini-Lost reunion. Lost ended its run on ABC, after six seasons, in 2010.

Harold Perrineau, who played Lost's Michael Dawson, and Greg Grunberg, who played the doomed pilot of Ocean flight 815, will soon guest star on Mysteries of Laura. The show stars Debra Messing as Laura Diamond, single mom and NYPD detective.

"I wouldn't be in this mess if I didn't marry the right woman," harrumphs McCormack in response.

Who, exactly, was the right woman? It turns out that Laura and Andrew were previously engaged. And it looks like the passion is still there – at least for Andrew.

Detective Laura Diamond may have finally met her match.

In TVLine’s exclusive clip from tonight’s Mysteries of Laura (NBC, 8/7c), the titular crime solver joins her co-workers for a night of “bonding,” which quickly turns sour — pun alert! — when she realizes the eight watered-down shots of tequila she knocked back aren’t quite as watered down as she thought.

The clip also finds Laura engaging in some sexy word play with Jake, which is always fun. (Don’t be shy, Lake ‘shippers. I know you’re out there!)

NBC has solved the mystery of whether of not Debra Messing's latest show will continue to air. The network has given a full-season 22-episode order the new drama “The Mysteries of Laura.” Emmy Award winner Messing stars as a New York homicide Detective named Laura Diamond, who has to juggle the responsibilities of being a cop and being a mom. After six episodes, "Laura" has averaged a 1.8 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 10.4 million viewers overall. While the overall viewer numbers have been good, the series is skewing toward a very old audience. It also stars Josh Lucas, Laz Alonso, Janina Gavankar and Max Jenkins. Writer Jeff Rake ("Boston Legal") and director McG ("Supernatural") are executive producing the series along with Greg Berlanti ("Arrow"), Aaron Kaplan ("The Neighbors"), Todd Lituchy and Sarah Schechter. “Debra has effortlessly infused Laura with a relatability that is captivating audiences,” said NBC president Jennifer Salke in a press release.

NBC’s two-hour Thursday night comedy block will come to an end this fall. The broadcaster is scaling back its comedy investment on TV’s most lucrative night for advertising. Instead, NBC plans to gives its breakout hit The Blacklist the post-Super Bowl spot next year, then shift it to Thursday nights at 9 p.m. in midseason.
