Rupert Grint joined the Harry Potter franchise when he was just 11 and went on to play the character of Ron Weasley until he was 22. The franchise was a lucrative deal for the actor with its huge payouts. He continued to receive residuals from TV and DVD sales even after the franchise ended. However, he has currently landed in hot water for a tax mishap that happened right after his Harry Potter days.

Grint’s $2.3 million tax bill should come as no surprise when you consider the tax debts of actors like Wesley Snipes and Chris Tucker. Snipes spent 28 months in federal prison for tax evasion charges, while Tucker owed the IRS nearly $12 million in tax debt.

Sandra Bullock starred alongside Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes in the futuristic film, Demolition Man, in 1993. This was a role that Bullock took on before her Speed fame and it was mostly considered a cheesy yet watchable action film. Elon Musk recently addressed the film in a tweet, where he shared a video of him talking to Stallone.

Musk shared that he was telling Stallone about how his film predicted one aspect of the future. Bullock is not likely to be entertained by this comment from Musk. Stallone and Musk were present at Mar-a-Lago where the next President Donald Trump hosted this year’s Thanksgiving dinner.

This past weekend, movie lovers on social media were once again debating theater etiquette. Wicked is full of memorable scenes and unforgettable music numbers, including a triumphant final act rendition of "Defying Gravity" by star Cynthia Erivo.
Even if you haven't watched the musical, chances are you've seen footage of that online because it's somehow become the norm for people to take their phones out and either record full scenes or take photos of, in Wicked's case, the opening titles.
Variety has shared an interesting piece on the controversy, speaking to one anonymous studio executive who pointed the finger at...Deadpool & Wolverine?!
"Something has happened post-pandemic where movie theater behavior has really changed," the unnamed exec tells the trade. "They have a different relationship with the material, it’s all just content to them...Something really happened with [Deadpool & Wolverine]."

The final scene of “Wicked” is a cinematic triumph. A defiant Cynthia Erivo soars through the skies, circling above Oz and belting “Defying Gravity” as her enemies look on in awe. It inspires tears and applause, even sending audiences jumping from their theater seats as Erivo nails those high notes.
But you don’t have to buy a ticket to witness it now. The full four-minute conclusion to the first part of Universal’s smash hit is currently available on social platforms like X and TikTok for free.
That’s because fans can’t seem to stop taking photos and recording full, minutes-long clips of Erivo and her co-star Ariana Grande going toe-to-toe in the Emerald City. Some of this piracy serves to document the feverish embrace of all things “Wicked.” Others are meant to convey other forms of adoration.

Quite a few McU-related rumors are doing the rounds online this evening, and we've gathered 'em together in this handy round-up.
We'll start with Spider-Man 4, which Daniel Richtman claims is now on track to begin filming next August. The still-untitled movie will reportedly include Multiversal elements (which we have heard before), and "multiple villains." Nexus Point News also believes that the script is currently undergoing rewrites.
Richtman also backs up another recent rumor that Marvel Studios is planning to move forward with a Deadpool and Wolverine sequel. Before that, there's a good chance the Merc With a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) and Logan (Hugh Jackman) will show up in Avengers: Secret Wars, and that may not be the last we see of Jackman as the iconic mutant hero.
Apparently, Jackman will be staying on as Wolverine in the MCU post-Secret Wars. This isn't the first time we've heard this,...

Logan star Dafne Keen made her surprise return as Laura/X-23 in this summer's Deadpool & Wolverine. By the time the credits rolled, she'd returned home on Earth-10005 and the stage was set for her to likely suit up in the next Avengers movies.
Now, Hot Toys has unveiled its shockingly lifelike 1/6th scale X-23 action figure based on her appearance in the Marvel Studios threequel. It's a shame Laura never wore a comic-accurate costume, though we'd imagine that's coming down the line.
Here's the official description from the company:
"Masterfully crafted based on Dafne Keen’s appearance as X-23 in the movie, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt and interchangeable hair sculptures, interchangeable hands with extra bone claw styles, and a skillfully tailored outfit, complete with detailed tall boots, a backpack with a horse-shaped accessory, a pair of sunglasses, and a battle-damaged Juggernaut helmet. “Deadpool & Wolverine” got off to a strong start in its streaming debut.
Per Disney, the Marvel Studios film pulled in 19.4 million views globally (view is defined as total stream time divided by runtime) after six days of streaming, with the film becoming available on Disney+ on Nov. 12. That makes it the most-watched live action film across Disney+ or Hulu since the streaming release of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in early 2023.
For comparison, Disney reported in September that the animated film “Inside Out 2” accrued 30.5 million views in its first five days on Disney+.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” debuted in theaters in July 2024. The film not only marked Ryan Reynolds’ and Deadpool’s entry in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also saw Hugh Jackman reprise the role of Wolverine after saying farewell to the character in “Logan” in 2017. Deadpool & Wolverine was one of the biggest superhero movies this year, and it was a huge hit with audiences. The movie made over $1 billion at the box office and received great reviews from fans.
A big part of its success comes from the return of popular characters like Snipes’ Blade, Garner’s Elektra, and Evans’ Human Torch, along with new additions like Tatum’s Gambit.
With these famous stars returning to their roles, even one leak from the set could have ruined the movie for everyone. Ryan Reynolds admitted that this worried him a lot, especially considering the big fight scene where nearly all the legacy characters battle in an open arena in the Void.
I was so fucking scared that people would see [Wesley Snipes, Channing Tatum, Jennifer Garner, and Dafne Keen]. Genuinely, it kept me up at night,

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was the biggest superhero release this year that has seen incredible success with the audiences. The movie earned over $1 billion at the box office and has seen glowing reviews by the fans.
Much of that success can be attributed to the fact that it includes plenty of legacy characters such as the return of Snipes’ Blade, Garner’s Elektra, and Evans’ Human Torch, alongside some new additions such as Tatum’s Gambit.
Due to these iconic stars returning to their roles, even a single leak from the set could have spoiled the movie for everyone. This is something that Reynolds admitted kept him up at night. Dafne Keen not only got really good at lying about having a role in “Deadpool & Wolverine,” but she also really enjoyed doing it. But when it comes to her potential future in the MCU, the actress swears to TheWrap that she’s telling the truth when she says she hasn’t been part of any conversations.

Legacy characters have become a common feature in superhero movies. Some examples, like Spider-Man: No Way Home, have been big hits, while others, like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, were less successful.

Legacy characters are nothing new in superhero releases. Some examples of this practice have been extremely successful like ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ Some have been less successful as was the case with ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’
The next MCU projects rumored to include plenty of legacy characters are ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ set for a 2026 release and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ set for a 2027 release. Keep in mind that there are already over 50 characters rumored to appear in ‘Secret Wars’ which really doesn’t help the credibility of all those vast rumors and reports.

To celebrate Deadpool & Wolverine's Disney+ debut, Ryan Reynolds has shared a new deleted scene from the movie on his social media accounts.
The sequence takes place immediately after the Deadpool Corps decide to stop fighting so they can celebrate the arrival of Peter. Earth-10005's Merc with the Mouth decides to join in and share how his Peter gave him a sense of belonging...only to be immediately met with a chorus of insults from the Corps.
"Get f***ed, d***head," Kidpool tells him before another chimes in to say, "Go back to Canada, a**hole."
However, the biggest insult comes when Welshpool - played by Wrexham footballer Paul Mullins - gives Wade Wilson two fingers and shouts, "F*** off, c***!" Yes, Deadpool & Wolverine very nearly featured the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first true C-bomb.
Of course, the movie did include the line "thunderc*** from down underc***" but...

However, the biggest insult comes when Welshpool - played by Wrexham footballer Paul Mullins - gives Wade Wilson two fingers and shouts, "F*** off, c***!" Yes, Deadpool & Wolverine very nearly featured the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first C-bomb.
Would this have been a step too far for Marvel Studios' first R-Rated movie?...

As we mentioned a little earlier today, Deadpool & Wolverine is now streaming on Disney+. With a record-breaking $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office, we're guessing most of you have seen it already; now, though, you can watch it at home whenever you like.
While doing so, you might want to grab some popcorn. Perhaps you can put that in one of the highly sought-after Wolverine popcorn buckets released earlier this summer?
However, you probably shouldn't take any cues from the Merc with the Mouth while doing so! Yes, he uses it in exactly the Nsfw way you'd expect.
We know Ryan Reynolds and Leslie Uggams recently reunited to shoot additional material and it looks like that will mostly take the form of promo videos like this (we'd imagine something is coming for Christmas and the rest will be used for the threequel's planned FYC campaign).
"His mind goes a thousand miles an hour,...

Deadpool & Wolverine is now streaming on Disney+, and Marvel Studios has just shared a few new posters for the movie highlighting some very different - and undeniably intriguing - team-ups we didn't get to see.
The first shows Cowboypool and Old Man Logan fighting side-by-side, while the second features Wolverine surrounded by an endless supply of Deadpool Corps Variants. Finally, we get Dogpool and a literal Wolverine, a team-up we really wish had made it into the threequel.
Ryan Reynolds and filmmaker Shawn Levy previously said there are "hundreds" of Easter Eggs in Deadpool & Wolverine that fans have yet to spot.
"I'll give this one away: when I punt Wolverine's adamantium skull toward camera, and I say, 'Maradona goal,' and it goes up, if you really look closely, you'll see that his prisoner number from Les Mis is engraved in the back of the throat of...

As a wise Daywalker once kind of said, "Some studio presidents are always trying to ice skate uphill" — and it looks like Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige ain't ready to hang up his *ahem* blades just yet. After what can only be described as a tumultuous half-decade spent trying to get Marvel's Mahershala Ali Blade movie off the ground, it looked like plans to bring comics' premier vampire hunter to the MCU might've bitten the dust for good when Marvel Studios removed Blade from the release calendar last month. But at this past weekend's D23 Brazil fan event, Feige offered an optimistic update on Eric Cross Brooks' big-screen future to Brazilian outlet Omelete.
As translated and reported by Variety, when asked about the status of Mahershala Ali's long-in-the-works MCU project, Feige was quick to dispel the notion that a lack of release date meant that the movie had been shelved for good.

Marvel announced five years ago, at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, they were inviting Blade into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a new reboot. Five years later, well, Marvel’s planned Blade MCU movie has still yet to even find its way in front of the cameras.
It’s no secret that the brand new Blade movie has been bumped all over the release calendar the last few years, and it’s currently without a date at all after getting pulled from its theatrical release date of November 7, 2025. Not helping is that the movie is without a director at the moment, with Yann Demange (“Lovecraft Country”) departing the project in the wake of Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) exiting the film back in 2022.
Studio President Kevin Feige reassured fans this weekend at the D23 Brazil 2024 event that Marvel is still planning to reboot Blade with star Mahershala Ali and bring the character into the MCU.

Marvel Studios recently took Mahershala Ali’s long-delayed “Blade” movie off its release calendar, but studio president Kevin Feige is telling fans not to worry about whether or not the iconic vampire hunter will find his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Blade is coming, he promises.
“We are committed to Blade,” Feige told Omelete (via IGN) during the D23 Brazil 2024 event. “We love the character. We love Mahershala’s take on him. And rest assured: whenever we change direction with a project, or are still figuring out how it fits into our schedule, we let the audience know. You’re all up to date on what’s happening. But I can tell you that the character will indeed make it to the MCU.”
Marvel originally announced its “Blade” movie with Ali in July 2019, but development has been rocky as several writers and directors have come and gone over the years.

While rapper beefs are a dime a dozen these days, two of the biggest pop stars of the ‘80s and ‘90s were reportedly in a lifelong feud. Michael Jackson, who was known as the King of Pop, was reportedly feuding with his contemporary Prince during their heyday. Many instances of the two dissing each other in creative ways have come to light.
While the two had publicly denied any animosity between them at the time, Jackson reportedly wrote about Prince in a discarded chapter in his memoir where he recounted all the issues they had. Apart from rejecting Mj’s request to feature on Bad, Prince also reportedly dissed the Thriller singer in a song, mocking his appearance.

Speaking with Omelete, Feige explained that the studio is eager to find creative ways to bring these iconic characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Deadpool & Wolverine offered an exciting storyline where the two iconic characters find themselves in a sort of Marvel hero purgatory -the Void which was previously introduced during the ‘Loki’ series.

Marvel’s highly anticipated Blade reboot, starring Mahershala Ali, has faced several setbacks, but Kevin Feige, head of the MCU, reassured fans that the project is still moving forward.
Despite delays and changes in the director’s chair, Feige is committed to bringing this iconic character back to the big screen.
“We’re committed to Blade. We love the character and Mahershala’s vision of him. Rest assured, we always update our audience when we shift directions or are figuring out how a project fits into our schedule,” Feige explained.
First announced in 2019, Blade has faced numerous delays and was even removed from Marvel’s release calendar at one point.
The project has undergone significant changes, including multiple script rewrites and shifts in key production staff. The film lost its director, Yann Demange, due to creative differences with star Mahershala Ali, marking the second time the film has been without a director.

Deadpool & Wolverine untold stories ( Photo Credit – Instagram; YouTube )
In the original concept art for Deadpool 3, Marvel fans would’ve seen some thrilling cameos: Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider and Ben Affleck’s Daredevil teaming up with Deadpool and Wolverine in battle. However, as we know, those plans didn’t make it to the final cut.
On Entertainment Weekly’s Awardist podcast, Ryan Reynolds shared that he, co-star Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy were eager to include these iconic characters. Unfortunately, the cameos were scrapped due to budget constraints. While disappointing, it’s a reminder of the tricky balance between creative ambition and production realities.
They even approached Nicolas Cage for the role of Ghost Rider, but he turned it down. Ryan Reynolds explained that they were focused on “trying to make the movie responsibly,” as this is the most expensive Deadpool film. Despite the budget concerns, the movie is packed with cameos,...

“Deadpool & Wolverine” was the second biggest movie of the year, following “Inside Out 2,” but it could have been even bigger. The highest-grossing R-rated movie ever globally, it raked in 1.3 billion this year worldwide, became the 18th highest-grossing film of all time, and became the sixth highest-grossing Marvel movie ever, only bested by four “Avengers” films and “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
Filled to the brim with cameos, of course, Chris Evans as the Human Torch, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Wesley Snipes as Blade, Jennifer Garner as Elektra and more, there were definitely more cameos on the table in early drafts.

Remember when Nicolas Cage brought the Johnny Blaze version of Ghost Rider to life in Ghost Rider (2007) and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011)? Those films, made before the MCU era, weren’t huge hits at the time, but with a wave of nostalgia, fans are eager to see Cage’s Ghost Rider make a comeback.
Since Disney acquired Fox, the MCU now holds the rights to Ghost Rider, sparking renewed interest in Cage’s return. Reports even suggested he was considered for Deadpool & Wolverine, with concept art featuring Ghost Rider, though this ultimately didn’t materialize.
Now, while Cage is currently involved in a Spider-Noir project, fans are still rallying for his return as Ghost Rider. Recently, a popular—though sometimes speculative—source claimed that Cage is in active talks to reprise the role in an upcoming MCU project.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s institution of the multiverse and variants shows that anything is now possible. Deadpool & Wolverine blew the door down and showcased some delightfully unexpected possibilities. One of those possibilities was Channing Tatum finally getting to play X-Man Gambit after so many false starts in getting his own movie. Tatum is holding out hope that the positive responses to his appearance might lead to something as he’s said, “I sure hope so. From your mouth to God’s ears. Write it into existence, my friend. Please.” He had also told Marvel that he still wants to make the movie. “I’ve course I’ve said it. I’ve been saying I want it for the last 10 years. It’s in Bob Iger and Kevin Feige’s hands. I pray to God.”

Deadpool & Wolverine spends a lot of time in The Void and the background is littered with Easter Eggs for Marvel fans.
Among them was the only 20th Century Fox logo, of course, not to mention a Helicarrier, the Benatar, and a colonial ship many theorised might be Russell Crowe's vessel from Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
According to filmmaker Shawn Levy, that's not the case. However, another famous ship was considered and it would have led to an unexpected crossover with a classic Fox movie.
"We were going to have the Titanic in it," the filmmaker told Entertainment Weekly after giving the VFX credit for coming up with much of The Void's detritus. "There are some Fox-centric Easter eggs. After nearly 20 years, Channing Tatum might finally get his solo Marvel outing, thanks to a little help from pal Ryan Reynolds.
Following Tatum’s appearance as Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds teased that Marvel executives are “obsessed” with the performance and he has “hope” for Gambit’s onscreen future.
“I honestly don’t know what goes on behind closed doors in the bookkeeping sessions at Marvel, but I do know that they’re obsessed with him in that role,” he said on Entertainment Weekly‘s Awardist podcast. “It’s kind of like the same situation I went through. Once you show that it works well, that’s really what they need. Sometimes they just need to see it in action.”
In 2014, test footage leaked of Reynolds’ performance as Deadpool (aka Wade Wilson), the fan reaction pushing 20th Century Fox to greenlight the 2016 first installment in his own Marvel franchise.

Ryan Reynolds’ brand of humor has made him a beloved star in Hollywood both on and off the screen, and it still doesn’t feel real to him — even when his movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” grosses more than $1.5 billion.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” became a box office behemoth, pulling in an astounding $636 million domestically and securing its place as the 12th highest-grossing film in history. It now sits just behind Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” and ahead of Warner Bros.’ summer sensation “Barbie.” It’s also surpassed the 2019 thriller “Joker” to become the highest-grossing R-rated film ever. Before cameras even started rolling on Deadpool and Wolverine, there were rumors that Nicolas Cage was set to reprise his role as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, and we'd later learn that there were indeed early plans to include a version of the character via some officially-released concept art.

To paraphrase Wesley Snipes as Blade in this summer’s blockbuster “Deadpool & Wolverine”: There’s only one “Barbenheimer.” There’s only ever gonna be one “Barbenheimer.”
Hollywood might never replicate the je ne sais quoi that prompted the explosion of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” double features, turning the box office battle between two very different films into a once-in-a-generation cinematic event. But multiplex owners are hoping that “Wicked” and “Gladiator II” achieve something close as the pink-and-green musical and the Colosseum-set action epic land in theaters on Nov. 22.
“It won’t happen in the same way, but the conversation around ‘Wicked’ and ‘Gladiator’ is reminiscent of ‘Barbenheimer,’” says Shawn Robbins, Fandango’s director of movie analytics. “They’re fueling each other.”
Whether or not “Glicked” is the second coming of “Barbenheimer,” there’s mounting pressure on Thanksgiving movies — Disney’s “Moana 2” swims to the big screen on Nov.

Marvel fans have been waiting a long time for any updates on Blade, the iconic vampire-slaying, katana-wielding antihero who carved his place in pop culture with Wesley Snipes’ unforgettable portrayal in the late ’90s and early 2000s. Blade didn’t just introduce audiences to a lesser-known Marvel character; it set a darker, edgier tone that stood apart in the superhero world and paved the way for more mature comic book films.

After a record-smashing run in theaters worldwide over the summer, Marvel Studios’ superhero flick Deadpool & Wolverine, teaming Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman’s Adamantium-clawed Marvel mutant, has been set to begin streaming on Disney+ on November 12.
Surpassing Joker to become the highest-grossing Rated-r film of all time, the Deadpool threequel opens on a listless Wade Wilson (Reynolds) toiling away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. But when his home world faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine (Jackman) to… oh hell, just watch the movie. Synopses are stupid.
Shawn Levy directed the pic which grossed over $1.34 billion worldwide, from his script written with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Reynolds. He and Reynolds also produced alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

It's been an interesting time for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The franchise that once dominated the box office two or three times a year has suffered a number of blows in recent years that had many questioning the endurance of its drawing power.
Films such as Eternals, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and The Marvels failed to achieve the levels of success that even some of the franchise's solid performers did, resulting in a new approach and an overhaul to Marvel Studios' release strategy. It also reportedly ensured that they would focus on quality over quantity going forward, spending more time perfecting the titles that are still in the works (and perhaps even cancelling some shows it might have been open to bringing back once upon a time).
This meant refocusing on every upcoming title and ensuring that they can make the most of it, producing strong outings...

Wesley Snipes, the actor perhaps most widely known for starring as vampire hunter Blade, is ready to unsheath a new chapter in his Hollywood career, signing with Independent Artist Group for representation.
The actor and martial artist, who reprised his Blade role to the delight of fans in this summer’s $1.3 billion-grossing Deadpool & Wolverine, has an acting career that spans over three decades and reaches across genres. The actor gained notices for his 1990s work in dramas such as Jungle Fever, his influential crime movie New Jack City, comedic fare such as To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, and action flicks Demolition Man and Passenger 57.
Blade seemed like an innocuous action thriller when it was released in 1998 but the movie, exuding tough attitude and replete with one-liners, launched a trilogy that has gained in stature and influence since the final installment came out in 2004. When Snipes...
