Andrew Herwitz’s The Film Sales Company (Fsc) has licensed key territories on Amy Redford’s Roost which has drawn sustained buyer interest following the TIFF world premiere earlier this month.

Front Row has acquired rights for the Middle East, while Ascot Elite has picked up the film for Germany and German-speaking Europe, and California Filmes will distribute in Latin America.

The film gets its public world premiere on September 15 after press & industry screenings on September 9 and 11 and centres on a teenager who meets a man online masquerading as someone younger than his years. Scott Organ wrote the screenplay.

Grace Van Dien, who plays Chrissy in Season 4 of Stranger Things and is the great-granddaughter of Robert Mitchum, stars alongside Summer Phoenix, another actor from a distinguished cinema family.

The pair stepped out together for a screening of Manchester by the Sea in November, and Ben was also in attendance at the Globes when Casey won his best actor in a drama award. Ben and Casey have shared many moments together in Hollywood, working together both in front of and behind the camera. Ben Affleck hoped Casey would take home the Best Actor in a Drama trophy for his role in Manchester by the Sea on Sunday, and that's just what the 41-year-old actor did!

During his acceptance speech, Casey gushed over his co-star Michelle Williams' performance in the film.

"There's no award that belongs to just one actor," he told the audience. "I wish Michelle could be on stage with me because she made most of it work. She's perfect."

Among the many other names that Casey mentioned were the film's producers, Matt Damon and Kevin Walsh.

"To Kevin Walsh and to Matt Damon for giving me the opportunity, your support, your friendship," he said before taking a playful shot at Damon. "I suspect you won't be passing on any more movies...but I'll take this one."

Adding to the growing number of celebrity divorces this year, Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix have announced they’re calling it quits on their marriage.

The “Good Will Hunting” hunk’s rep told press they’ve “amicably separated and remain very close friends,” after meeting initially in 2000 and tying the knot in June 2006.

Affleck and Phoenix were introduced by Summer’s brother Joaquin Phoenix and they have an 11-year-old son Indiana and an eight-year-old son named Atticus.
