- Taught an annual workshop at the "Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts" in Orlando, Florida from 1993 to 1997
- Worked as a volunteer part time at a home for the mentally ill from 1994 to 2001
- Graduated from Lompoc High School in (Lompoc, CA) in 1974, where he was in plays and skits with fellow students Jeffrey Combs who is now a Sci-Fi/Horror movie star and Mark Herrier who went on to become one of the stars of the "Porky's" movies and director of "Popcorn". Their drama teacher, Mr. Larry Bowen also taught actor Dorien Wilson. All four were members of the International Thespian Society's Troupe #779. Bubba Baker was president of Troupe #779 from 1972 to 1974.
- Graduated Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts (Video and Film Comprehensive Program) in 1990. He attended "Full Sail" with his brother Steve Baker who urged him to go to the school. Steve is now a Sound Man in Boston. Both Baker brothers were students of director/actor Walter Von Huene.
