Lynda Carter and her lookalike daughter, Jessica Altman, made a memorable appearance at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week. The duo turned heads as they arrived at the event, embodying elegance and high fashion together.
Carter, best known for her iconic role as Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979, exuded sophistication in an all-black ensemble featuring a crocodile-textured jacket and gold-accented accessories. Her structured handbag and lace-up heeled boots added an edgy yet polished touch to her high-fashion look. Meanwhile, Altman complemented her mother’s chicness in a black Schiaparelli dress adorned with statement gold buttons, a matching coat draped over her shoulders, and elegant black pumps featuring gold embellishments.
Their coordinated outfits reflected Schiaparelli’s signature surrealist style as they seamlessly blended bold elements with classic silhouettes. The event, held at the historic Petit Palais in Paris, welcomed some of the biggest names in fashion.

Filmmaker Zack Snyder’s tenure with DC proved to be extremely tumultuous and had several ups and downs. However, one of the high points of Snyder’s take on the popular comic book characters was the fan-favorite casting of Henry Cavill as Superman. With Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, Snyder established Cavill as a commercial action star.

However, Cavill wasn’t the only actor whose career got a major boost because of Snyder. In an interview, Snyder talked about the casting of one Dceu actress who considered exiting Hollywood when she auditioned for Batman v Superman. That actress is none other than Gal Gadot and here is what you need to know about Gadot’s Wonder Woman casting.

20 years ago, Justice League Unlimited proved why Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet is one of her greatest assets in DC lore, despite her ability to fly on her own. The Invisible Jet has been a major part of Wonder Woman comic lore since her 1941 debut, yet viewers and readers could easily misunderstand its purpose, especially with many iterations of Wonder Woman having comparable flight abilities to Superman. Justice League Unlimited brought the iconic Jet to the DC Animated Universe, casually demonstrating why it is so invaluable to Wonder Woman in the process.
Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet has had a wide variety of origins in DC’s mainstream continuities, as well as many more features than its signature invisibility. Initially, the Invisible Jet was a necessity for Wonder Woman due to her inability to fly on her own. This was the case for Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot’s iterations...

It’s only a matter of time before Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reunite, and it seems that they already have a project in mind. According to THR, Jackman is in talks to join Reynolds in Boy Band, a comedy about former boy band members reuniting as middle-aged men. I love it.
Shawn Levy is expected to direct Reynolds and Jackman in Boy Band, as well as produce. Reynolds told THR that he’s in the midst of penning the second draft right now. “The first draft was incredible and written by one of my favorite writers, Jesse Andrews [Me and Earl and the Dying Girl]. Now I’m on my lonesome,” Reynolds said. “There are no dates or anything just yet. I’m not filming anything for at least a year.“

Donning the iconic costume and the Lasso of Truth back in 1975, Lynda Carter received worldwide fame for her role in Wonder Woman. However, Gal Gadot took on the mantle of Wonder Woman when she was cast in Zack Snyder’s Dceu back in 2016.
Was Lynda Carter okay with the casting of Wonder Woman?
Fans were in for a shock when Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman dropped from the sky to fight alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck during the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Although an unknown face to the newer audience, people fell in love with her the moment they saw the heroic Amazonian princess.

In what can only be described as saddening news, legendary actor Ron Ely has passed away at the age of 86. The announcement came from his daughter Kirsten Casale Ely, who told The Associated Press that he died on September 29 at his home in Los Alamos, California.
Ely was best known for portraying Tarzan in the NBC TV series, which ran for three seasons between 1966 and 1968. A time when action-packed TV shows based on classic characters were big commodities for network television (See: Batman), Tarzan maintained many of the elements that were popular with the source material, but it is particularly notable for not featuring Jane. It's also notable for the fact that Ely did the majority of his own stunts (and suffered some injuries as a result of that).

Wonder Woman is one of the greatest superheroes the world has ever known. A warrior from Paradise Island, a.k.a. Themyscira, she fights for people's rights and always chooses love over hate; inspiring such hope across the world ever since her introduction into DC Comics in 1941.
We've seen multiple live-action versions of the character over the years, most notably Lynda Carter's in the 1975 Wonder Woman TV series, and Gal Gadot's in the DC Extended Universe movies. It was thought that the latter would continue playing the hero for many more years to come as the Dceu was just getting started, but her future was called into question when DC Studios took over the helm as Wonder Woman 3 was cancelled.

The 1975 TV series "Wonder Woman" is deeply beloved by dutiful Gen-Xers who watched it as children. The show's combination of silly action, funky music, and campy humor hit a sweet spot, presenting the title heroine as bold, strong, and capable, but also upbeat, happy, and capable of whimsy. Also, because lead actress Lynda Carter is so dazzling, many Gen-Xers may confess to having a crush on Wonder Woman at some point. The series was a hit, lasting 59 episodes over three seasons. Along with 1952's "The Adventures of Superman," 1966's "Batman," and 1978's "The Incredible Hulk," "Wonder Woman" was, for many decades, one of the most celebrated superhero TV shows ever made.
"Wonder Woman" began its life as a 1974 pilot starring Cathy Lee Crosby, as a reimagined version of the character. That pilot didn't fly, but ABC was eager to do something successful with the character and launched a second pilot...

The classic Batman TV series inhabits a far larger universe than one might think. Starring Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin, the 1960s Batman TV series is famous for its intentionally campy portrayal of Batmans corner of the DC Universe, yet the show is undeniably a culturally impactful and comic-accurate adaptation of Batman. The series gave numerous Batman comic villains their live-action debuts (and created original ones who eventually made their way into the comics), turning obscure villains like The Riddler into mainstream Batman antagonists overnight.
Although the Batman TV series did not take itself too seriously, it is, ultimately, an authentic representation of the Batman comics of the Silver Age. Fittingly, given the crossover-heavy nature of the superhero genre, the Batman TV series establishes that Batman and Robin are not the only superheroes in their world. Along with their famous team-up with Green Hornet and Kato,...

Bruce Campbell has played supporting roles in so many films and TV shows, he once wrote a fictionalized autobiography -- "Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way" -- about how his biggest possible break would be playing a sage-like doorman in a high-profile Hollywood drama starring Richard Gere and Renée Zellweger. In the fake Hollywood movie, Campbell would be the character to dole out advice to the lead characters and get their lives on track. It's telling that Campbell, even in a fictional version of Hollywood, didn't cast himself as the leading man.
Of course, Campbell has rarely been romantic about acting. He takes his craft seriously, but sees it more as a blue-collar profession than a heady art that requires years of study. Given that Campbell started his career getting splashed with fake blood in a series of zero-budget monster movies, this attitude is understandable. The ironic twist in "Make Love!

Lynda Carter’s portrayal of Wonder Woman has gone down in history as one of the most accurate and iconic portrayals of a superhero of all time. Playing the role of Princess Diana in 1976’s Wonder Woman series, she laid the foundations for Gal Gadot’s version of the character and became an icon in more ways than one.

During a recent discussion among fans, there was a conversation surrounding Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia and Carter’s Princess Diana. While there is no denying that the Star Wars character was culturally significant in many ways, fans seem to be siding with the DC actress. Even going as far as to call her the ultimate fanboy crush of all time.

Kamala Harris is the candidate, but Nancy Pelosi’s hold on the party is still strong, as the Speaker Emerita made clear Wednesday at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
“I know that Vice President Harris is ready to take us to new heights,” said the longtime congresswoman from California’s 11th district in a primetime address to a packed United Center, one day before the first Black woman ever nominated for president by a major American political party takes the same stage. “Politically, she is astute and strategic in winning difficult elections, quickly securing the nomination with dignity and grace and choosing Tim Walz as our vice president,” Pelosi added in the highest praise possible for such a political grandmaster.
In that context, in the complicated factions of the Democratic Party, Pelosi’s daughter put it best when she tweeted tonight:

Fallout season 1 features original characters but hints at potential cameos from beloved Fallout game actors in future seasons. Actors like Clancy Brown, Ron Perlman, and Lynda Carter could potentially reprise their roles in the Fallout TV adaptation. Fans are eagerly anticipating cameos from famous franchise actors in Fallout season 2, especially since the show is headed to New Vegas.
With the success of Fallout season 1 owing largely to its memorable ensemble, gamers-turned-viewers are already speculating about which actors from the Fallout games could play their own characters in the show. Although the retrofuturistic world of Fallout remains the same throughout its many franchise entries, each game in the series takes place during different stages of Fallout's post-apocalyptic timeline and in various locations throughout the former United States. Set 219 years after the bombs drop, Amazon Prime Video's Fallout unfolds after all the franchise's preexisting games, making it perfect for cameo appearances.

"Wkrp in Cincinnati" may not be easy to find on streaming these days, but it's still a highlight in sitcom history. The show about a failing radio station run by a groovy and eccentric team was a hit in the '70s, garnering 10 Emmy nominations and the coveted Humanitas Prize before signing off after four seasons. Unfortunately, the show's heavy emphasis on popular music has made it a rare quantity today: according to MTV, the show didn't make it to DVD until 2007 in part because it was tricky to secure the rights to all of the songs featured in its original run. It's currently only available digitally if you buy it on Apple TV, and versions of the show available today are still reportedly missing some songs, with stock music added in their place.
Still, the ultra-'70s show is worth seeking out for comedy fans and music fans alike,...

Mark Hamill, Lynda Carter, George Takei and Sheryl Lee Ralph are among those in Hollywood who have taken to social media to share their reaction to Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in his New York criminal hush money trial.
A jury found the former president, who could face four years in prison or probation, guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records. Throughout the five weeks of testimony, the jury heard from a former tabloid publisher, a Hollywood fixer, Trump’s former lawyer and a porn star.
Trump also became the first former president to be convicted of felony crimes. Sentencing is set for July 11.
Ralph, star on Abbott Elementary, quickly took to X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, writing, “Former President Donald Trump has been found guilty of all 34 counts he faced. A cheer has erupted from Collect Pond Park.”
