It’s hard to believe That ’70s Show first premiered on TV over 25 years ago!
The Fox teen sitcom – starring Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, Don Stark, Tommy Chong, Josh Meyers, Tanya Roberts, and Lisa Robin Kelly – premiered on August 23, 1998 and ran for eight seasons before ending on May 18, 2006.
A revival series, titled That ’90s Show, debuted on Netflix in January 2023 and seven of the original stars returned for the spinoff. Unfortunately, the spinoff was canceled after 2 seasons.

Valentine’s Day is a holiday that inspires strong opinions, but few have been as candid as Ashton Kutcher about their dislike for the day of love. The actor, known for his witty humor and laid-back attitude, had revealed his strong feelings towards the day in an old interview. Kutcher’s aversion to Valentine’s Day is likely to amuse his wife, Mila Kunis, who has a more relaxed approach to the occasion.

Rather than giving in to the annual pressure to show affection on a single day, Kutcher advocates for a more authentic approach to romance. And, in typical Kutcher fashion, he’s not shy about calling out what he believes is wrong with the tradition. Ashton Kutcher Mila Kunis Danny Masterson Interview ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
A cringe-worthy That ‘70s Show anecdote roared back to life in 2023, years after Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis first joked about it. The clip? A 2002 Rosie O’Donnell Show interview where the now-married couple revealed Danny Masterson once bet Kutcher $20 to French kiss a 14-year-old Kunis during a scene. The throwback gained traction after Kutcher and Kunis faced backlash for writing character letters supporting Masterson ahead of his 30-year rape sentence.
“I’ve never kissed a guy. Ashton’s attractive, and I was terrified for my life,” Kunis, then a teen, told O’Donnell. Kutcher, then 19, laughed off the tension, claiming Masterson dared him to “use tongue” during their That ‘70s Show makeout scene. Kunis insisted he wouldn’t do it, while Kutcher teased, “I think he tried.” The exchange, framed as a sitcom-era gag, aged poorly as Masterson’s crimes came to light.

Seriously, are we still mad at ‘Twilight’ in this day and age or are we just being fake mad at it? Because if we’re still really mad at ‘Twilight’ over a decade on, then Robert Pattinson’s got a few words for us, and it ain’t nice. He basically said “get a life.”
Robert Pattinson Reacts To People Still Hating On ‘Twilight’
When it comes to the people hating on ‘Twilight,’ Pattinson no longer has the mental energy to accomodate them. In his latest interview with GQ Spain, he revealed his new mindset towards ‘Twilight’ haters.
“I love that people keep telling me, ‘Man, Twilight ruined the vampire genre,’” he said. “Are you still stuck on that shit? How can you be sad about something that happened almost 20 years ago? It’s crazy.”

As much as Chuck Lorre’s hit sitcom, Two and a Half Men, is known for its remarkable run on television, the show has also become memorable for the controversies surrounding it. And one of its biggest controversies led Ashton Kutcher to replace its lead star Charlie Sheen following his inappropriate behavior.

"That '70s Show" went on for eight seasons, although most fans agree that not all of those seasons were created equal. Where exactly is the cutoff line between good "That '70s Show" and bad "That '70s Show?" Some say it's around the point where Donna went blonde. Others say it was shortly after Kelso and Donna returned from California. Some say the decline started as early as mid-season 3, when Lisa Robin Kelly left the show. One thing's clear, though: nobody cares much for season 8, because that's the season where Eric (Topher Grace) isn't in it.
In a certain sense, Eric's departure was inevitable. He was the smart, bookish member of the gang, someone who should've surely gone off to college shortly after season 5, but the show's longevity had the writers jumping through hoops to explain why he was sticking around so long after high school in seasons 6 and 7. Red's heart...

“Lady Liberty stood me up!” the artist Isabelle Brourman announced, faux-pouting, on a recent Thursday evening at the Will Shott Gallery on New York’s Lower East Side. This week, a lengthy exposé was published in Vulture and New York Magazine detailing numerous allegations of sexual abuse against fantasy author Neil Gaiman. These allegations first came to light in July 2024 following a series of podcasts released by news start-up Tortoise Media. Titled "Master: the allegations against Neil Gaiman," they featured interviews with five women who claim that Gaiman subjected them to various instances of sexual harassment and abuse.
But this week's piece in Vulture revealed far more details. Vulture spoke with four of the women featured in the Tortoise podcasts as well as four others who had similar experiences, and the resulting report was graphic, disturbing, and horrifying. All it takes is one Google search to see how much the story has been picked up by other large outlets since then, including People, USA Today, BBC, and Rolling Stone.
Now, Gaiman has taken to his blog to respond to the allegations.

Multiple women accused The Sandman author Neil Gaiman of s*xual assault, sparking a new controversy in the literary community. It isn’t the first time Gaiman has faced accusations after a July podcast covered the allegations of five women. One of the accusations was raised by his former babysitter, who went into the disturbing details of the assault.

Last year, disturbing allegations of sexual assault have resurfaced involving acclaimed author Neil Gaiman. Initially reported by Tortoise Media, the allegations involve claims from two women who accuse Gaiman of sexual assault during what they describe as a consensual relationship. According to the alleged victims, Gaiman engaged in degrading and non-consensual sexual encounters with them.
Now several months later, Neil Gaiman is facing more sexual assault allegations, which were revealed in a cover story by ‘New York Magazine.’ In response to the claims, J.K. Rowling shared her thoughts on social media, drawing a comparison between Gaiman and Harvey Weinstein.
Rowling, who is no stranger to controversy herself, suggested that the public’s reactions to Gaiman’s allegations reminded her of the initial reactions to Weinstein during the #MeToo movement.

(Updated Jan 14 with Neil Gaiman blog statement) More sexual assault allegations against Neil Gaiman that emerged Monday have seen J.K. Rowling offer a chilling and insightful comparison for The Sandman writer.

As Tim Allen’s new sitcom Shifting Gears launches this week, his Home Improvement son, Zachery Ty Bryan, was arrested on domestic violence charges — again. He was jailed for similar charges in July 2023, on top of his multiple arrests for driving under the influence. "That '70s Show" hasn't stayed quite as culturally ubiquitous as its fellow 90s sitcoms "Seinfeld" or "Friends," but that speaks more to how titanic its competitors were and remain. True to its name, "That '70s Show" was set from 1976-1980 (four years stretched out into twice as many seasons), following a group of six high school-aged friends growing up in Point Place, Wisconsin. The town is fictional, but the show's creators modeled "That '70s Show" and its characters on their real teenage experiences.
Running from 1998 to 2006, "That '70s Show" racked up an even 200-episode run. It's also the reason you know who Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Topher Grace are — with its popularity, a revival was inevitable, especially because by the 2020s, enough time had passed to update the central gimmick.

Danny Masterson is seeking to overturn the verdict in his 2023 jury trial, which ended with him being convicted on two counts of rape by force or fear and sentenced to 30 years in prison. The actor claimed “fundamental flaws” led to an unfair trial that featured shifting accounts of what happened from the three plaintiffs and arguing that it was meant as a legal attack on the Church of Scientology.
On Thursday, attorneys for the That ’70s Show star filed a 242-page appellant’s opening brief demanding an overturning of Masterson’s guilty verdict — the culmination of a weeks-long, high-profile jury trial that concluded in September 2023. The allegations in the filing by defense attorneys Cliff Gardner and Lazuli Whitt state that the jury’s view of the evidence was skewed by the women’s narratives of the attacks, the court’s exclusion of significant exculpatory evidence and rulings by the judge overseeing the trial.

A year and a half after Danny Masterson was convicted of rape, lawyers for the former That ’70s Show star have finally filed an appeal on his 30 years sentence.
“It is true, of course, that a defendant is not entitled to a perfect trial,” Masterson’s attorneys argue. “He is, however, still entitled to a fair one. Danny Masterson received neither. Reversal is required.”
In a 244-page opening brief submitted to the second appellate district, division two yesterday but not yet formally in the docket, Cliff Gardner and Lazuli Whitt are throwing everything and the Scientology sink at the court for their incarcerated client’s “complete exoneration.” However, amidst claims Masterson’s rights were violated by the inclusion of alleged Scientology doctrine as context for the long-time Church member’s actions before, during and after the sexual assaults, “falsified” testimony by the “complaining witnesses,” and judicial error, this appeal really all comes down to cold,...

Danny Masterson submitted a massive, admittedly “oversized” appeal brief in his California rape case Wednesday that challenges the credibility of his victims and claims a series of trial court errors “requires” the reversal of his 2023 conviction.

Danny Masterson Appeals Rape Convictions, Says Victims’ Stories ‘Evolved’ to Pursue Monetary Damages
Danny Masterson’s lawyer filed an appeals brief seeking a complete reversal of his convictions for rape, arguing that the “That ’70s Show” star’s accusers significantly altered their stories to squeeze through a labyrinth of statutes-of-limitations laws in order to pursue monetary damages through a civil case.
The 60,000-word brief – equivalent to more than 200 pages – made several arguments to immediately free Masterson, who was sentenced in September 2023 to 30 years to life in prison for the assaults of two women who testified in his Los Angeles re-trial. The first trial ended in a hung jury in November 2022.
The filing from Cliff Gardner picked apart the timeline of the accusers’ stories in exhausting detail, outlining how each “evolved” their memories over the years more than a half-dozen times. He suggested that they tailored their accounts knowing that a criminal conviction would open the long-expired limitations statutes preventing them from seeking a...

On Wednesday (December 18), Danny‘s legal team filed court documents to overturn the ruling.

According to reporting by USA Today, the actor’s lawyer Cliff Gardner filed an appellant opening brief asking for the ruling to be reexamined because of “fundamental flaws” in the case.
“The Appellant’s Opening Brief submitted on December 18, 2024, demonstrates two fundamental flaws in Danny Masterson‘s convictions: (1) the trial was rife with erroneous judicial rulings that skewed the jury’s view of the evidence against him and (2) there was a stunning amount of exculpatory evidence which was never presented to the jury,” he said.
He continued, saying, “But the appeal represents only one part of...

As each year comes to an end, entertainment outlets remind us of all the beloved celebrities who left us over the past 12 months. There’s no need to get that depressing, but why not pour one out for the comedy television we lost in 2024?
Whether it was due to cancelation, lost networks or creator fatigue, here are six shows that comedy fans were mourning this year…
1 Curb Your Enthusiasm
How did a show that premiered in 1999 give us only 12 seasons? Larry David’s comedy ode to himself finally concluded in 2024, devising an ending that essentially apologized for the botch job on that Seinfeld finale all those years ago.
The show has gone dark before (David and the show disappeared for six years after Season 8), only to return. But he insists that Curb Your Enthusiasm is finally done, especially because HBO did very little groveling about another encore. “I’m very susceptible to a beg,...

Kurtwood Smith is one of the oldest veterans in the entertainment industry, but he might as well be one of the most underrated ones. Besides portraying Red Forman in That ’70s Show and proceeding to do the same in the spin-off sitcom That ’90s Show, he has also managed to score a one-way ticket in the superhero world, including playing Vernon Masters in MCU’s Agent Carter.

Ashton Kutcher’s public image has had a rough year due to his close friendships with and consistent support of convicted serial rapist Danny Masterson and alleged serial rapist P. Jurors who served on the 2023 trial that ended with Danny Masterson’s conviction on two counts of forcible rape have reported “unwanted contact” by Masterson’s legal team at their homes and businesses — and now prosecutors have asked for a hearing on the matter.
In a new Nov. 13 court filing reviewed by Rolling Stone, Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Reinhold Mueller said it appeared that the reported outreach to jurors by Masterson’s legal team “was neither wanted nor was it made at a reasonable time and place as required.

John Mayer and Hollywood director McG have swooped in to purchase the lot that currently houses Jim Henson Studios for $60 million, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
According to a spokesperson for Mayer, the singer and filmmaker are “under contract to buy Henson Studios” after the Church of Scientology had been rumored to be circling the property.
Though that report was never confirmed, THR has learned that a father-son duo with strong ties to Scientology had a hold on the land before Mayer. Run by Steve and Shaun Fabos, Fab Factory Studios had plans to lock in a deal.
Steve Fabos is reportedly a major Scientology donor, while Shuan notably testified during Danny Masterson’s rape trial and was deemed a hostile witness after changing his testimony to support the disgraced actor.
