Paul Dessau(1894-1979)

He was music director for Bertolt Brecht's play, "The Good Woman of Setzuan," in an English Stage Company production at the Royal Court Theatre in London, England with Peggy Ashcroft, George Devine, Rachel Kempson, John Moffatt, Esme Percy, Peter Woodthorpe, Robert Stephens, Joan Plowright, Sheila Ballantine, Frazer Hines, John Osborne, Nigel Davenport, Peter Wyngarde, and John Nettleton in the cast. George Devine was also director. Berthold Goldschmidt was musical director.
