Sokrat Abdukadyrov is a Soviet and French actor. In 1976 he graduated from the Theater School named after Boris Shchukin, course by Yuriy Katin-Yartsev. In 1976-1977 he played at the Central Theater of the Soviet Army. In 1977-1985 he played at the Moscow Lenkom Theater. He gained fame in 1977 by playing the main role - Nasreddin - in the parable Pervaya lyubov Nasreddina (1978) based on the work of the same name by Timur Zulfikarov about the adventures of the famous hero of oriental fairy tales Khoja Nasreddin. He played prominent roles in the films Chelovek menyaet kozhu (1982), Zvezda i smert Khoakina Murety (1983), Potseluy (1983), Rasstavaniya (1983). In 1985 he moved to France. Fluent in French, he acted in films and on television.
