Paul Stanley commented on the performance simply with the word, “Magic!!!!,” while Nick’s sister Sophie Simmons wrote, “We Want The Album.”

In the parking lot of a Panera, just off I-95 in Stafford, Virginia, Rick Dunsford climbed into the passenger seat of a white Ford F-350 pick-up. Depending whose account you believe, he was holding either 12,000 or 15,000 in cash. It was late afternoon on a Friday in July 2019. Dunsford had been driving through the night, making stops along the way — in Charlotte, North Carolina, to pick up an associate, Madeline Rose; at his sister’s house in Virginia, to collect some of the money; and at a couple of different Wells-Fargo...

Guns N’ Roses just announced that not only are they going ahead with their 2021 American stadium shows, but they’ve added Wolfgang Van Halen to the bill and a bunch of arena shows in the fall. For these keeping track, this is essentially the same reunion tour that launched back in 2016 and has already grossed more than half a billion dollars.
The whole thing seemed very improbable when it was merely a rumor back in 2015. People had many key questions about the whole thing: Axl is really going to make...

Guns N’ Roses did not arrive fully formed on L.A.’s Sunset Strip, howling “Sweet Child o’ Mine” with all the might and charisma that made the song a hit in 1988. They only achieved the proper cocktail of sensitivity and machismo after the five musicians in Gn’R’s classic lineup found each other in the mid-Eighties. Long before any of them had even dreamt of the songs on Appetite for Destruction, Indiana natives Axl Rose and guitarist Izzy Stradlin were cutting their teeth in the bands Axl, Hollywood Rose,...

Guns N’ Roses rolled out yet another leg of their reunion tour earlier this week that will bring them to stadiums across North America throughout the summer. They downgraded to arenas in America after the first leg of the tour in 2016, and filling 60,000 seat venues might seem like a tough task at this point, but they must have reason to think that the demand remains this high.
Amazingly, this will be the 14th leg of the tour. By this point, they’ve hit just about every place on the planet where they could conceivably play,...

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has been hospitalized after a possible suicide attempt. TMZ, which broke the news, quoted law enforcement sources as saying that someone at the musician's Los Angeles home called 911 around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday to report that someone had stabbed themselves, and that cops later discovered Adler, 54 with a stab wound to his stomach. The outlet said he was treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. An Lapd spokesperson confirmed to E! Early next month, Guns N’ Roses will kick off the 10th, and possibly final, leg of their Not in This Lifetime reunion tour. Many people thought that Slash and Axl Rose wouldn’t be able to share the stage for more than couple of weeks before the whole thing imploded, but amazingly enough it’s been well over two years and there hasn’t been even the tiniest sign of tension. They’ve also managed to be on time every night, which is somewhat of a miracle considering their history.

"Be strong and rock hard," Mötley Crüe advised. And when you deliver, "shout at the devil.” Netflix dropped the first Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt trailer and it looks like the world's most notorious band had a blast earning that reputation. The film won't cop out on the band's more controversial and painful moments. Nikki Sixx’s Dec. 23, 1987 party til you die party with Slash and Steven Adler from Guns N’ Roses and Ratt’s Robbin Crosby; Tommy Lee’s stormy marriage to Heather Locklear; Mick Mars’ bone disease diagnosis, and the car crash that killed Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley and put Vince Neil in jail will all get celluloid treatment.
The biopic is a film adaptation of Mötley Crüe’s 2001 memoir, The Dirt: Confessions Of The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band.

'It's So Easy and Other Lies' movie: Biographical documentary of Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan. 'It's So Easy and Other Lies' movie review: Biographical documentary of Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan fails to develop unique idea Any rock and roll documentary that begins with a quote from Upton Sinclair's The Jungle and ends with a reference to Norman Rockwell is gunning for something uncommonly rich and thoughtful. Here, the high-toned references are awkwardly applied to the story of Duff McKagan, Seattle-born bassist of the loud and legendary Guns N' Roses and subject of the documentary It's So Easy and Other Lies. In the annals of rock music, McKagan's tale is sadly typical, at least for those who survive long enough to star in a film about themselves: young rocker bounces from band to band before joining a soon-to-be world-famous group, enjoys a rapid ascent to the top,...

After years of feuding, it looks as if the “old” Guns N’ Roses is back. Sort of. Even though they never really left… kind of. Look, they have a reunion coming up… partially, anyway.
Confused yet?
Pretty much every music fan not living under a particularly remote rock or the dark side of the moon for the past few decades knows the story of Guns N’ Roses. The huge debut, the excesses, the controversies, the membership changes and the eventual, complete implosion of the classic-era line-up. Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Gilby Clarke (Stradlin’s original replacement), Slash, Duff McKagan – by the early 90s, they were dropping like flies. Come the late 90s, only singer Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed remained, alongside a new group of musicians including The Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson.

2012 was a banner year for former Guns N Roses drummer Steven Adler: along with his former bandmates, in April he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and he later formed a new self-titled hard rock band (he had previously released two EPs with the band Adler's Appetite). Adler released their first album Back from the Dead last fall, which featured scorching guitar contributions from John 5 (Rob Zombie's axe-man and Lords of Salem composer) and Adler's Gnr compadre, the legendary Slash. We caught up with Steven and his team (vocalist Jacob Bunton, guitarist Lonny Paul and bassist Johnny Martin) to talk about the formation of the band and the album, their dedication to pure rock 'n' roll, and the strong connection between rock, metal and horror – including the band's own musical link to the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. We cover all that and more in this clip!

Los Angeles, California (x17online) - Guns N' Roses reunited during their Rock And Roll Hall of Fame induction concert on Sunday without their longstanding lead singer Axl Rose. The three original members, Slash, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler, hit the stage this weekend to perform some of their greatest hits during the festivities, including classics like Sweet Child O' Mine and Paradise City. With Axl's absence, the group recruited Miles Kennedy, lead singer from Creed spin-off band Alter Bridge, to take over the microphone during their set. Axl Rose refused to attend the event after citing a "lack of respect" in a letter addressed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week.

Ex-Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has said he has no hard feelings over Axl Rose's decision not to attend the band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Rose announced last week that he would skip Saturday's gala because he didn't feel "wanted or respected" by his former bandmates. The 'Welcome To The Jungle' singer also requested not to be inducted "in absentia". Guns N' Roses' Hall of Fame induction went on without the frontman in Cleveland, with Rose's name apparently drawing boos when he was mentioned during the ceremony. Adler, who drummed for Guns N' Roses from 1985 to 1990, spoke of Rose's absence with Rolling Stone following the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert. "All I have to say is I love Axl very much and I was blessed that... he was a part of my life," Adler (more)...

Axl wasn't there, but Saturday night's (April 15) Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony did feature three original members of Guns N' Roses — Slash, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler — who jammed with former Gunners Gilby Clarke and Matt Sorum (plus Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy stepping in to fill Rose's shoes) on a medley of the band's biggest hits.
Of course, there was also a cameo that only eagle-eyed fans of VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" probably caught: The show's logo, worn squarely on Adler's chest.
Adler has appeared on "That Metal Show" before and is an avowed fan of the program — he even canceled a performance by his band Adler's Appetite in 2010 to appear as a guest.
