Vladimir Alekseev was born on 14 July 1910 in Boguslav, Kanev uyezd, Kiev Governorate, Russian Empire [now Bohuslav, Bohuslav Raion, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine]. He was a writer and director, known for Miners of the Don (1951), Ori okeanis saidumloeba (1957) and Vystrel v tumane (1964). He died on 22 October 2000.
