Chicago – The cover for the Blu-Ray release of “Miss March” (also on DVD) features the title character (Raquel Alessi) of the raunchy comedy staring open-mouthed, clearly a little shocked at what she’s just seen. She even looks a little angry. One can assume that she has just watched the movie on the disc inside and is planning to fire her agent, for comedies don’t get much worse than the dismal, awful, unfunny “Miss March”.
Blu-Ray Rating: 1.0/5.0 After “American Pie” shocked Hollywood by out-performing all expectations, there was a wave of “virgin sex comedies” that followed. Years from now, film historians will be surprised to learn that “Miss March” wasn’t a part of that wave and actually came along years later. It feels like a relic of a trend that has pretty much been relegated to straight-to-dvd comedies for the last several years. And it’s not even...

Miss March – Unrated Version
Directed by: Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore
Cast: Zach Cregger, Trevor Moore, Craig Robinson, Raquel Alessi
Running Time: 1 hr 30 mins
Rating: R
Plot: A young man (Cregger) wakes up from a four year coma only to learn the girlfriend (Alessi) he once pledged his virginity to now poses for Playboy magazine. Along with his perverted friend, (Moore), he travels across the country to the Playboy mansion in hopes of winning her back.
Who’s It For? Fans of Cregger and Moore’s sketch-comedy group “Whitest Kids U Know” need to be careful. If they don’t set their expectations slightly above “National Lampoon’s Straight to DVD College Movie,” they risk disappointment.
Movie:
These two “Whitest Kids” may share brain waves with 13 year olds, but at least they bring some of their seasoned originality from sketch comedy to a blueprint originally worked up by...

The outrageous comedy Miss March will hit DVD on July 28th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and M&C.s giving away three copies! Written, directed and starring Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore (.The Whitest Kids U. Know.), Miss March follows Eugene Bell (Cregger) a young man who suffers an unfortunate accident on prom night causing him to lose his gorgeous girlfriend Cindi (Raquel Alessi; Ghost Rider), but not his virginity. Waking up some time later thanks to his best friend Tucker (Moore) and a wooden baseball bat, Eugene finds that his once chaste companion has hit the big time as the latest Playboy Playmate. Now, with only 27 hours to get to the mansion, Eugene and...

Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore amplify the raunchiness throughout Miss March, their crack at a sex comedy. Yet a wide-eyed sweetness engulfs the vulgarity. Absent scenes of sudden bowel movements and exposed breasts, and the involvement of Playboy, one could be forgiven for mistaking the picture for a PG family comedyabout small town guys on a big city adventure. Cregger and Moore, the writers, directors and stars, are two of the five members of The Whitest Kids U' Know troupe currently appearing in the third season of its IFC show. In this, their debut at the helm of a motion picture, the sardonic intelligence imbued in their sketch comedy work gets largely overshadowed by the bland filler between the scatological gags. Too much of the film consists of predictable, thin banter between archetypal characters designed without enough innovation.Eugene Bell (Cregger) is a high school senior perfectly content to remain a virgin until marriage,...

I should probably preface this review by saying that I am not at all familiar with the Whitest Kids You Know, save for the fact that they are a comedy group and they apparently have a show on IFC that a number of people are fans of. Two of that group’s members, Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore, not only star in, but also write and direct Miss March. Having seen this effort, I’ll say that I’d be willing to give their show a shot -- but only if there was nothing else on.
You’ve probably already heard the plot synopsis by now, but considering how that only covers about ten minutes of the film, I’ll give you a little more. Eugene Bell (Cregger) is about to lose his virginity on prom night; but he gets too drunk and falls down a staircase landing him in a coma for four years.

Up until yesterday I was having trouble keeping track of all the movies that were contenders for the worst of 2009, and I couldn't decide which one topped the list. Now my head is clear of such decisions. I've seen Miss March. In the film, high school boy Eugene (Zach Cregger) practices abstinence but reluctantly agrees to sleep with his girlfriend Cindi (Raquel Alessi) on prom night. Before he can seal the deal he falls down some stairs and goes into a coma. When he wakes up four years later, Cindi is the new Playboy Centerfold. So he and his idiot best friend Tucker (Trevor Moore) take a road trip to the Playboy Mansion to find her.
How they're friends is one of the movie's greatest mysteries, aside from, you know, the one about how it ever got made. These two morons react to everything with bug eyes and jaws agape,...

Chicago – Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore – best known as members of the TV comedy troupe “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” (now on the Independent Film Channel) – make their directorial feature-film debut with the release of “Miss March”.
Rating: 2.5/5.0 “Miss March,” which opens on March 13, 2009, is a sex comedy that also stars Cregger and Moore as Eugene Bell and Tucker Cleigh, a couple of high school goofs who are looking to score. Tucker is the rampant horny boy in the scenario, while Eugene is a purer soul, hoping to lose his virginity on prom night with his girlfriend Cindi (Raquel Alessi).
HollywoodChicago.com sat down with Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore to talk about doing feature films versus sketch comedy world and where the horny boy sex comedy fits in the internet age.

Chicago – Craig Robinson is one busy character actor. Besides his recurring role as Darryl Philbin in the popular NBC show “The Office’, he co-stars in the comedy film “Miss March” (releasing on Friday) as the strangely named Horsedick.Mpeg.

The weekend buzz is starting to wind down about "Watchmen" and its box office opening, with the Zack Snyder helmed film pulling in around $55.6 million as far as estimates go. Next weekend, the Warner Bros. Pictures film faces off against Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' Andy Fickman helmed "Race to Witch Mountain." With Dwayne Johnson starring alongside Carla Gugino, AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig, the family sci-fi adventure comedy opens in 3000+ theatres, aiming to snag kids and teens. Gugino will most likely be looking at a first and second place at box office as the multi-talented actress forms one of the “Watchmen” leads. Horror “The Last House on the Left” corners the genre with around 2,300 venues served. Remake based on Wes Craven’s original film of 1972, is newly screen-written by Adam Alleca and Carl Ellsworth. The “Watchmen” charge into theatres by Peter Dimako, Editor Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Watchmen,” one of the most anticipated releases ever, finally finds release this weekend in 3,611 locations nationwide. Ratings around the web from every day readers as well as writers have been positive with the majority liking the film. Two of our writers gave this a solid 4/5 ratingand were impressed with helmer Zack Snyder’s workmanship. The film stars Malin Akerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Carla Gugino, Billy Crudup, Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Stephen McHattie, Matt Frewer, Niall Matter and Sonya Salomaa. Posting a top spot is a given, the question is, how much and will the hype pay off? Naturally, since nothing would dare contend in the same weekend as “Watchmen,” it is the only wide opener of the week. The remainder of the field is limited to indie openers. They are as follows: "Phoebe in Wonderland" opens into Ltd.

Unable to forget her, he then decides to go on a road trip to the Playboy's mansion headquarter with Tucker in order to meet her once again. The trip is filled with many raunchy experiences as well as misadventures, like the time the two of them are being attacked by a group of firefighters.
"Miss March" is the upcoming comedy movie from Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore, who team up to write and direct the movie.

Have you ever seen a chick unlocking a door with her tongue? If not, check out the trailer for "Miss March" right after the jump.
Written and directed by Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore, this upcoming comedy follows a guy who embarks on a trip to the Playboy mansion after he wakes up from a four-year coma and discovers his former sweetheart has become a centerfold.
Okay, the basic idea doesn't sound all too rotten, but as you can see in this preview, "Miss March" looks like a pretty simplistic, raunchy comedy filled with brainless slapstick.
Besides Cregger and Moore, the film also stars Raquel Alessi, Molly Stanton and Alexis Raben, among others. Release is set for March 13.
Check out the trailer below and share your thoughts. I've had it with all these road flicks for a while.

As serial dramas go, Standoff is one of the lucky ones. After several new series from the 2006-2007 season bit the dust, this one miraculously survived and Fox even ordered additional episodes. But now, after being M.I.A. for months, has Standoff's luck finally run out?
Standoff debuted back on September 5, 2006 on Fox. The series focuses on an FBI Crisis Negotiation Unit whose members negotiate hostage situations and, of course, share relationships. The series stars Ron Livingston, Rosemarie DeWitt, Gina Torres, Michael Cudlitz, Raquel Alessi and Jose Pablo Cantillo.
Following an episode of popular medical drama House, the Tuesday night Standoff premiere attracted a healthy 13.7 million viewers (retaining 70% of its lead-in). Before going on hiatus for the World Series, the ratings dropped to an average of 8.4 million.
When Standoff returned on November 1st at 8pm, without the benefit of the House lead-in, Standoff really got clobbered and viewership...
