HollywoodNews.com: Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s resident doctor and the one who is now on trial for the King of Pop’s demise, is facing shocking allegations in the preliminary trial. Michael Jackson’s bodyguard, Albert Alvarez, said in court that Murray instructed him to hide bottles of medication and to remove an IV bag.
Alvarez alleges that the bag was filled with a “milky white substance,” believed to be Propofol. Only after Alvarez cleaned up the bottles and IV bag, Murray allegedly instructed Alvarez to call 911, though it may have been too late at that point for Jackson, reports TMZ.

Los Angeles - Michael Jackson's doctor ordered a bodyguard to remove vials of medication that resembled the powerful anesthetic that caused the singer's death, the bodyguard said Wednesday. The testimony of Albert Alvarez came on the second day of a preliminary hearing in which a judge will decide whether there is enough evidence for Dr Conrad Murray to stand trial on charges of involuntary manslaughter. Jackson died on June 9, 2009, at age 50, as he was set to embark on a sold-out comeback tour. A coroner's report found that he died of a lethal overdose of the hospital anesthetic propofol while in the care of Murray. Prosecutors charge that Murray gave Jackson the drug as a sleeping aide...

The 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival is set to run June 17-27 in a brand new location. Oh, it’s still in L.A, but it’s moving across town, from Westwood — where it’s been held the past few years — all the way over to Downtown.
The main “hub” for the fest will be the new L.A. Live complex, but there will also be screenings at other locations, such as the Downtown Independent and Redcat theaters. The city is really trying to build downtown up into a major arts and culture hub, so the festival moving there fits in with that agenda. Film Independent, the organization that runs Laff, also runs the annual Independent Spirit Awards, an event that also moved downtown — from Santa Monica — this year.
On Bad Lit, I tend to like to put up festival lineups that include days and times of screenings. However, since I...

Still unraveling the mystery, reports have said that doctors were able to restart Michael Jackson’s heart for a brief time at the UCLA hospital.
One doctor at the scene said two EKGs showed heart activity. Sources have also said that Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was able to restart his heart at Jackson’s home.
Both stories are different than those of paramedics, who wanted to take Jackson to the morgue because they believed he was dead upon arriving.
A lawyer for Joe Jackson, Brian Oxman, also believes he was dead before paramedics arrived. Oxman said that the Kind of Pop’s weak pulse was from resuscitation attempts. The news has come from Albert Alvarez, a bodyguard of Jackson.
Alvarez told investigators that Murray told him to hide propofol, the day of his death. The statement also exposed that Murray interrupted CPR and waited to call 911, so he could hide the drugs.
