Jack Andreozzi

Jack Andreozzi was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in an Italian
section called Federal Hill. He is the son of Salvatore Andreozzi, who
was born in Caserta, Italy, and Antonetta Lepre whose parents came from
Tiano, Italy. Jack later moved to the Eagle Park area of Providence
where he attended Mt. Pleasant High School. He quit school at 16 and
after ten years of working at odd jobs and going aimlessly through
life, he came to California with his wife Carol (whom he married in
1962). He graduated Los Angeles City College and worked as a grip for a
while in various studios where he got interested in acting.He enrolled
in an acting class and several months later he got a couple of lines in
a comedy skit on "Tony Orlando and Dawn'. After several years of doing
dramatic and situation comedy shows he landed a recurring role on 'Hill
Street Blues' as Sal the Plumber.That lasted a couple of years and he
continued acting for several more years until about 2001.A couple of
misunderstandings and some frustrations stifled his interest and desire
to continue acting, so he retired. He has one son and three daughters
that he enjoys(Gio, Brandi, Tean' and Jamiene) who have given him 5
granddaughters (Ashley, Shasha, Sarah, Kolaiah and Gianna) and 2
grandsons(Elijah and Israel). He is living in Los Angeles.
