Eve Annenberg graduated from the Juilliard School in the Drama Division in Group 14. Other members of Group 14 include Thomas Gibson, Bradley Whitford, Wendell Pierce, Michael Gill, Juliet Pritner and artist Regina Herod. She matriculated at Columbia University Graduate School of Film where her classmates included Kimberly Pierce, Andy Bienen, Patrick Stettner, Tony Gerber and Mark Christopher. She and Robert Pulcini manned the equipment room together. Eve recused herself from graduate school to make her first feature, "DOGS: The Rise and Fall of an All-Girl Bookie Joint" which is just about ripe for a re-make. She went on to produce approximately eight features because she's good with a dollar. And sometimes, uncredited re-writes. She is proud to say she produced Tony Jaswinski ("The Shallows") first feature for a shockingly modest budget and it landed in Sundance Competition. After 9/11 Eve dove into an accelerated course in nursing and became an Emergency Room RN in a variety of urban hospitals, including Bellevue, CUNY Downstate and Boston's Beth Israel for several years before returning to acting, writing, producing and directing. Although she misses the nurses, she does not miss the work, per-se.
In 2015 she re-married and she and husband Matt Jacobs adopted three young brothers from Donetsk, Ukraine in 2016.
Originally from Boston Eve attended Boston Latin School, matriculated in the distant past at Wesleyan and NYU, and studied Russian at Harvard. Which has come in shockingly handy. She and long term writing partner Stephanie Sharpe have been represented by Lawrence Mattis at Circle of Confusion. Producer Jane Wright, (formerly of the BBC, London and a Columbia colleague) is maintaining an active interest in and connection to her current project, "Lulabelle and Sydney on the Lower East Side." Eve is devoted to the ACLU, The Parents Family Circle (Israeli- Palestinian peace promotion), various farm animal sanctuaries, breast cancer girls, a lot of actors and the town of Provincetown, Mass.
