Originally from the South Suburbs of Chicago, Asher first caught the acting bug as the lead Ground Hog in a class production of a long forgotten school play. The acting bug bit again when he portrayed Don Martin in a Jr High School class production of Rod Serling's "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street". Asher graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.
Asher's first job in Hollywood was on the NBC Soap Opera, "Generations". He was also member of the Peabody Award winning team for a series of Fox PSA's on gun violence in school, and as Clearance Supervisor on the Academy Award winning picture, "Pulp Fiction". Since 2017, Asher has worked in finance on staff at Vice Media.
