WAMPAS Baby Star of 1927.

Was a stenographer at MGM before getting roles in movies. Starting with uncredited bits before getting her first bigger role in Annie Laurie.

Charlie Chaplin asked her while filming The Kid (1921) to play an angel in one of the dream scenes. She declined explaining that she could not stay out of school.

In an interview article from Motion Picture Magazine (1926/1927) she stated that before getting the billed part in Annie Laurie (1927) she played bit parts in Tell it to the Marines (1926) with Lon Chaney and A Certain Young Man (1928) with Ramon Novarro, which was filmed around 1926/27 and released in 1928.
