That's show business, baby. One moment you're at the top of the box office and the next your film is being called "the biggest flop of the year." To these celebs, that moment happened within months of the other. We rounded up 13 movies stars who had major hits and huge misses within the same year (give or take a few months), and by "misses" we mean their films that were either critically panned or failed to bring in any money. Sometimes, it was both. 1. Sandra Bullock: The Miss: All About Steve (2009) The Hit: The Blind Side (2009) The Breakdown: Sandra B. is the one of the few and proud who actually showed up at the Golden Raspberry Award ceremony to accept...

When it comes to spreading vicious Oscar gossip targeted to take down unwanted contenders, why should film studios and award campaigners have all of the fun? No, no, no, no – Michael Musto (Out, Gawker) and I insist upon getting in on the action. Granted, some of our rumors are a bit silly ("12 Years a Slave" = one week working for Harvey Weinstein; those monsters in "Monsters University" never really graduated from high school), but I think we're onto something here. If reaction to this podcast is good, Michael and I may soon return with this routine as an ongoing shtick, spewing our venon (and cringe-inducing camp) across Oscarland for the next few months. Hey, somebody's gotta liven up this derby season, eh? Who else do you know are crazy/ tasteless enough to make "12 Years a Slave" jokes and to seriously discuss that very real rumor spread just a few weeks ago...

Reducing All Terrifying Obstacles To Self-Flattering Backdrop Ambience!
I seriously don't know what's wrong with me lately but I'm beset by all sorts of obstacles, some of my own doing (eye strain, major time management issues, job(s) stress, fatigue, personal setbacks) perhaps the cinema gods are punishing me for not loving Gravity??? Sigourney Weaver is just always going to be my favorite Distressed Lady in Outer Space Masterpiece. Sorry Sandra B!
This is not meant as a pity party just a 'have patience' as I work through this and get back to upping the blogging game a bit for Oscar season. If you want to help, share posts on facebook or...

On the heels of last week’s nude fest, tonight’s episode of The Big Bang Theory was pretty kinky.
We opened with an insightful conversation about Spider-Man’s theme song, begging the question, can Spider-Man really do whatever a spider can? The boys part ways before Raj’s film festival on movies that kill their franchises. Howard goes to Bernadette’s parents’ house for dinner and Sheldon heads to Amy’s apartment to accompany her to a colleague’s memorial service.

You thought I forgot about the Red Carpet Lineup for the Golden Globes didn't you? No... I'm just moving a bit slowly after that March of the Handsome Penguins. Why do I punish myself to make things pretty? "Do you even care about the pretty?" he screams into the virtual abyss, clawing at the heavy comment door.
Oh... and, uh, Merry Christmas?
Czj, Sweet Lips, Globe Hopper, "Peggy"
Maybe that's why Tilda wished everyone Happy New Year from the stage. So many holiday gowns staring up at her.
What was with all the green? Is that what they call "on trend"? Green is my favorite color, give or take purple (The Joker is my color wheel) but that's a lot of green even for me. What to make of Elisabeth Moss's sculpted butterfly wing bosom? Meanwhile Angelina Jolie looks very Dynasty (that's a compliment) and Mila "Sweet Lips" Kunis finally steps up the glamour.

I pray my occasional 'look at these comments!' posts don't come off as desperate. I'm just a very chatty person, what can I say? Since we are all becoming cyborgs, comments feel closer to conversation all the time. One day we will all forget how to speak. We will grow extra sets of fingers for more typing speed. Evolution will shrink our hands so that we can text with greater ease on our tiny devices.

Hollywoodnews.com: What didn’t happen at this year’s MTV Movie Awards? The cable network’s kudo telecast upstaged even the Golden Globes as the award ceremony with the most hysterical moments.
Watching the show, one knew the night was off to a great start when Justin Bieber told host Aziz Ansari in his dressing room that he was there to make the girls go crazy. At which point Bieber turned on a blow dryer and dried his puppy dog ‘do.
Other highlights included Tom Cruise’s “Tropic Thunder” producer/ film executive Les Grossman foul-mouthing and gyrating to hip-hop tunes. At one point, Grossman rudely interrupted Ed Helm’s piano-rendition of “The Hangover” tune “Stu’s Song” (complete with dance routine by the film’s Ken Jeong in a leopard female bathing suit); demanding that the two immediately leave the stage.
“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” rallied five of the ceremony’s 12 popcorn statues.

The last time we saw Sandra Bullock on the stage at a major awards show, she was collecting an Academy Award for her role in "The Blind Side." Things were a little different on Sunday night at the MTV Movie Awards, where the lovable actress — whose movies have grossed nearly $700 million worldwide in the past year — celebrated her latest honor by smooching with Scarlett Johansson.
With co-stars Betty White and Bradley Cooper joined by Johansson to present the Generation Award, Bullock got a standing ovation from the rowdy crowd.
"Sandy, I know I'm not alone in saying I hope you know how loved you are," said Cooper, screaming over the hyped-up audience. "Both for your incredible talent and...

The hunky vampire playing English man and the new Mommy going through a separation have made their way into Time Magazine's list of most influential people. Hard to believe that RPatz and Sandra B are right there beside Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi! RPatz has shot to fame in the last year mainly through his character, Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" movies but also through his relationship with co-star Kristen Steward who plays Bella in the movies- his love interest. Sandra B won an Oscar this year for her role in "The Blind Side" and most recently found out her husband, Jesse James, was cheating on her. But on the bright side, Sandra just announced the adoption of a little baby. But most influential? Ummm! Here is what "New Moon" director, Chris Weitz thinks about RPatz- “to answer Freud’s rhetorical question, \‘What do women want?’ Other peers...

Sandra Bullock collected her Razzie in person in keeping with her sly self-deprecating charm on the Oscar campaign trail. That's good sportsmanship!
...and brilliant game-playing, too. Even if Sandra B does lose the Oscar tonight (nobody's ever picked up both the Razzie and the Oscar in the same year) she's got heaps and heaps of goodwill to coast on as she nears the quarter-century mark of a crazy successful career.
Miss Congeniality: Armed and Fabulous co-star Regina King at the NAACP awards last week.
She could probably even risk another Ernest Hemingway biopic or misbegotten sequel... or even an All About Steve level blunder or third Miss Congeniality toss-off. The "Get Out of Jail Free" card is hers.
Do you think she'll win tonight or are you feeling an upset? I know everyone seems to be on pins and needles about this category, despite the seemingly obvious (Sandra) conclusion.

The 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards presented another round of upset victories on Saturday as Inglourious Basterds won “Outstanding Performance by a Cast” over the stellar ensemble of The Hurt Locker and the Oscar-bait performances of Precious. The rest of the categories mirrored the Golden Globes last weekend, which should make for an easy time predicting the Academy Awards at this rate.
One of the Basterds, Christoph Waltz, picked up an expected “Supporting Actor” win as Col. Hans “The Jew Hunter” Landa. Mo’Nique also repeated as “Supporting Actress.”
Sandra Bullock, who surprised some early by even being in the category and the conversation, won the SAG Award for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.” She awkwardly thanked everyone before going off on a tangent about how her husband is hot. ”I want you so much,” she gushed from the podium. Classy.
