Chester Barnett was born on 29 February 1884 in Piedmont, Missouri, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for The Ancient Mariner (1925), Calicowani (1913) and La vie de Bohème (1916). He was married to Dorothy M.. He died on 22 September 1947 in Jefferson City, Missouri, USA.

A protégé of David Belasco, stage actor Chester Barnett entered films in 1912 and worked as a leading man for the remainder of the decade. He often partnered Pearl White in serials of the period.

Survived by his widow, two sisters and a brother.
