Archie Baskcomb is chiefly remembered for his creation of the part of
"Slightly" in the very first stage production of J.M.Barrie's PETER PAN
in 1904. He created a major character out of an underwritten part and
went on to play it for seven years.
He acted in John Hastings Turner's play, "Mayfair and Montmartre," at the New Oxford Theatre in London, England with Alice Delysia, Lady Tree, Tubby Edlin, Mabel Green, Sascha Piatov, Fred Sylvester, and Nikitina Stowitts in the cast.
